Ollie is frozen stiff, your mouth is open, but nothing comes out. A silent scream. The small someone on the mastiff tilts their head to the side, in curiosity and possible confusion. A feminine, soft, high-pitched voice come from the little girl on top of the mastiff. "Are you alright? How come you aren't home? Don't you know it's dangerous out here at night?"
How do you react?
(Free answer. When it's dialogue and not actions, I will not be listing answers. You choose how you want your character to act.) -
Voice quivering—“Yes, I’m alright… And, well, I didn’t know exactly how dangerous. I don’t even know what this place is… Why are you here, anyway?”
-
1. Protest
Better safe than sorry. Also because there might be animals in there. -
1. Try to sneak away. Anything else would get me killed.

Belladonna's cheeks flush from embarrassment, putting her hands in her pockets. "They do look lovely," she admitted. "But I'm afraid I won't be able to afford it." She looked at a piece of labradorite with intrigue. "You do have a wonderful collection."
-
The little girl peers at Ollie. "You're lucky I found you before any of them did... I am the head chief's daughter, currently on night patrol. Follow me, newcomer, for safety and shelter."
Do you 1) Follow her? 2) Stay where you are? 3) Run away? -
Follow her. She’s riding on a giant dog she must know what she’s doing. Plus, I don’t want “any of them” to find me if I’m considered lucky with her.

The cloaked stranger shakes his head and sighs. "Fine." Giving in, he opens the door to house, letting you in first. A woman in her late forties was cooking something, then she looks up at you and then at the cloaked stranger. "Elijah, why is it that you keep bringing back random homeless people you find near the town?"
In a defensive tone, he replies, "It's different this time, Ava. Ah don't know why, but ah jus' have ah feelin' that this fella might have a reason he's here. Fate, perhaps?" Elijah looks at Samuel. "Why are you here, anyways?"

The little girl takes Ollie down the path, eventually finding the train tracks again. She leads you to a quaint little village, something straight out of a fantasy folklore story. People living within the trees. Houses strung up and suspended on vines and strong branches. The girl dismounts the mastiff and boards a wooden elevator on a rope pulley system. She gestures to you that you should come onto the elevator with her. "I'm taking you to the chief's headquarters."

Timothy tries to sneak away, and in all honesty, you had a 50/50 chance that you could escape the perpetrator's wrath. But the second you got to the emergency exit, a lady drops down, clad in all black clothing. She points a glock at his head. "On your knees. NOW." She says in a demanding voice.

The middle-aged woman raises an eyebrow at Belladonna. "Thank you kindly for your compliments, but did you not see the sign?" She points to the small white sign on the stand's table that says, "Everything is 50% off". "I'm going to open a shop and start anew, handing my business off to my brilliant niece." She says wistfully. "Plus, it's hard to find any of these precious gems anymore. My grandson has been searching high and low for the rarest gemstone in the world so I can retire early. Painite. Unfortunately it's a three person job. Normally I'd go with them, but I'm getting too old for those adventures..." She looks up at Belladonna, eyes brightening. "You're young and spry, right? Do you think you'd be up to the job? I understand if you no..."

"Aight, bet, Ms. Intimidating Lady," Timothy followed her instructions. "Just one question, though - why are you threatening me, too? Obviously, I'm not from around here. If you have beef with this place or something like that, don't take it out on me, please."
-
"Any living person in this building and is being taken hostage. That includes you, even if you aren't from around here." She takes out some plastic zip lock ties and tightens them around Timothy's wrists and ankles. "Looks like you get a front row seat of the chaos. Lucky you." The lady then checks in with her fellow felons to see if all the captives are secure yet.
Do you 1) Try to break the ties and attempt to escape again? 2) Look for something to cut the ties and break free? 3) Stay there. -
"Hey! I'm not homeless! If anything, you're probably still in crippling debt." Samuel whispered in annoyance. "Anyway, Mr. Eli, funny story. I actually don't know why I'm here. Just stumbled upon this path while looking for the... i don't even remember anymore."
-
(I'd tell you what you and the others' objectives are in this, but that'd be spoilers. The only thing I can tell you is that you need to survive.)
Ava heard Samuel little comment but decided to ignore that. Elijah nods, "Get some rest, and maybe in the morning you can remember. You'll be sleeping on the couch." He points at a medium sized satin sofa, a knitted quilt thrown on the armrest.
