Soon, the authorities came because a citizen saw the group of criminals. But something peculiar occurred. Not only were the police outside the building, so was some...superheroes? From where you were sitting, they seemed to be arguing. Timothy looks at the felons, and they were just preparing for an attack or to bargain with them. The lady who bound you to your ties was shaking her head, disappointed. "Not this again..." she grumbles to herself.
(Free answer) -
Belladonna smiled slyly. "An adventure? I've had my fair share of adventures," she said with a light laugh. "But I can't just deny your request, now can I? Let's make a deal." She leaned against the table. "I will go and search on your behalf. In exchange, I'd like one of these gems for free, as payment. Which one do you think is the best?"

"Wow, this place is, uh, interesting..." Timothy says to no one in particular. "I wonder if those people outside could help me?" Timothy attempts to stand and run toward the authorities.

The lady chuckles and nods to Belladonna, "Well, what's your favorite color? Then I shall determine what would be best for someone as lovely as yourself."
(Free answer) -
The lady, clad in all black, cocks the gun at Timothy's heart. "Don't even think about it. I won't hesitate to kill you. We have many others to replace you. We don't want to kill anyone; we just want to make a deal with the authorities. But if you resist our demands, we will if we have to,"

Ollie wrapped their arms around themself. "Do I have a choice in this matter?" they asked. "Actually, forget I said that. probably not. Who is this 'chief,' anyway?"

The little girl perks an eyebrow at Ollie. "The chief is the leader of our tribe. I am the next in line after my older brother." She pulls the elevator up, carrying them both to the highest section. Exiting the elevator, she gestures to Ollie that they must follow her.
(Free answer) -
"Oh. I definitely misread this situation," Timothy froze. "I-I'll just stay here, then..."

The lady rolls her eyes, scoffing at Timothy. "Good idea, kid."
Soon, once the authorities came to a agree to disagree solution. They focused on the criminals. "What do you want?" The Chief of police yelled through the megaphone. The head mastermind replied through the mall's loudspeakers. "We want to make a deal. You give us the contraband and our base back, and we'll give you some of our best felons as your spies on the other sides." The lady recoils back in shock, "That wasn't apart of the plan-" she hisses at the Mastermind. "To gain some, you must lose some."

Realizing he had no idea what was going on, Timothy resolved to ignore the rest of the conversation.

"You know what, I'm outta here. This isn't what I signed up for." The lady unties Timothy and some of the other captives nearby. She rips off her mask and storms out of the back of the mall, she's taking you with her for some odd reason, of which you do not know.

Timothy simply follows. At this point, he was too confused to form a coherent response.

The lady is grumbling incoherently to nobody in particular. Suddenly, there's a hissing sound and she gasps, shoving you into and alleyway, and sliding to the other side of the alleyway. The mall explodes into smithereens. Timothy sees a superhero carrying all the captives in their arms and on their back. You coughing, accidentally breathing in some of the smoke from the explosion. You realize that's not why you were coughing it's because in inhaled the stinky alleyway stench. It smelt like rotten eggs, stuffed into a dirty sock then was peed on. "Welcome to the dark parts of the city, kid. It's disgustingly fragrant, I know."

“Is, um… is your chief an evil one?” Ollie asked hesitantly. “Or a good one? Sorry if that’s rude. But I want to know if I’m about to be dead.”
