Rasia's eyes widened and she quickly took a step back. "We need to get out of here!" she shouted. The logical explanation was to go back into the closet, but that seemed too simple a solution for a man like Skipper.
-
“Too bad you can’t kill Felix and I.” Axel grinned wickedly. “And unfortunately for you, I doubt Felix will allow you to kill his future wife! That being said, I can’t allow it either.”
-
Rasia was again confused. Why wouldn't he be able to hurt Felix? Not that she was complaining, but wasn't he normal too?
-
Felix put himself in front of Rasia, guarding her from the threat Skipper imposed.
“Don’t even try it. Haven’t you killed enough people already?” Felix yelled, his eyebrows furrowed together in a pure rage. His glare was as sharp as daggers.
“It’ll never be enough. Not until you, me, and Axel have been wiped off the Earth.” Skipper growled. The lightening bouncing off of his fingertips were crackling obnoxiously, getting louder and louder with each word that left Skipper’s mouth. -
(They're not getting out of there without being shocked by a door handle or two with all the electrons attaching themselves to them)
Raisia's eyes widened. This was not going well. She looked around, trying to figure out anything that could be done.
Her eyes fell on a fire bucket full if sand. She grabbed it. Hopefully it would work at least a little.
Sand was an insulator, meaning it should at least weaken the lightning.
Rasia stepped around Felix's arm and threw the bucket of sand directly on to Skipper. -
Skipper, who was too caught up in his blind rage to notice Rasia with the bucket of sand, was too busy trying to channel all of the energy stored up in his feeble body to shoot a surge of power at all three of them. When the bucketload of sand was thrown onto him, he let out a strangled scream and a string of bad words.
“You… how DARE you?” Skipper bellowed, clutching his one hand to his chest. “Now I won’t be able to kill you!”
Axel snorted. “At the very least, we’re bound to have a bad hair day.” -
"Axel, stop taunting him, we need to go," Raisa said
-
“Taunting him? I’m doing no such thing.” Axel said with a smal smirk. “Besides, we should be grateful that we’re still alive after the childish tantrum that guy just threw. It would be really terrible if something bad had happened to us.”
-
"AXEL ARE YOU GOING TO KEEP TALKING SO THAT HE CAN KILL US OR ARE WE GOING TO GO," Rasia shouted, finally having enough of his attitude.
-
Everyone in the room fell silent, including Skipper, although it looked like he was enjoying Axel being scolded more than anything. Axel held a look of shock on his face, blinking once and then twice before quietly nodding his head in agreement.
“Hm? Are you really leaving so fast? Goodness me, and it just got entertaining as well! What a shame.” The monotone voice echoed sharply off of the tattered walls. It was hard to tell whether the owner of that voice was slightly amused or if they were bored.
Skipper, Axel, and Felix all looked at each other in absolute shock, neither of them wishing to utter a single noise. All three of them knew that it was not them who had made that sound, but a mysterious, new person. Someone with a feminine voice. -
Rasia felt her heart drop at the fact that no one listened to her. They were probably going to die and they just wanted to stand around. "Guys, we have to leave ." But still none of them budged.
"Felix," she said, making her way over to him, hoping he'd listen to her. She got ahold of his arms and softly tugged "Felix please, I don't want to die here." -
"Rasia, come on, let’s get out. I won’t let you di-!”
Felix got cut off.
The owner of the mysterious voice entered the room, slamming the rotten door wide open to make her presence known. Her heels clicked sharply against the wooden floorboards as she approached the group.
The woman had deathly pale skin. Her eyes were as white as snow, and her raven-black hair fell all the way down to her upper thighs. She wore a black priestess dress, the sleeves hanging of her shoulders, leaving her shoulders bare. There was stitching on her face and collarbone, but despite that, she still looked as graceful as a ballerina.
“Good afternoon, strangers.” The woman stops in front of Rasia. A gentle smile falls onto her blood-red lips. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Rasia. My name is Krista.” -
Rasia's head whipped towards the entrance at the sound of the door slamming open. Her mouth parted open in surprise. She swallowed then tentatively asked, "C-Can you help us?"
-
Krista's lips turned up into a smirk. She gently took Rasia's hand in her own, giving her a pitiful smile.
“Of course I will help you, dear. I’m always open to saving those who are in need of saving.” -
Rasia was unsure whether she could trust this mysterious woman. She looked at Felix, then at Axel, seeing what they thought of the appearance of this Krista. She hardly knew anything about the paranormal, but they had more experience than she did.
