Rasia looked at Felix in shock and betrayal. Had he wanted to try again with her? See if it would work if he did it a second time?
-
Felix's eyes widen to their fullest capacity once he sees Rasia staring at him with a look of shock and betrayal. He feels his heart rip cleanly in two as he slowly approaches her.
“Rasia…. I…-! It may be true, but it was for a good reason. I swear I would never even think about harming a single hair on your head.” -
"Is that something you told Krista too? Is that something you said to sometime before you killed her?" Rasia said.
-
Felix fell silent.
“W…Well…-!”
“Yes, actually.” Krista swiftly cut him off, a deep villainous chuckle brimming in the depths of her throat. She gazed at Rasia in pure amusement. She hadn’t seen such a gullible naïve human in decades. “In fact, those were the exact words he uttered on the night of my death.” -
"Did you?" Rasia said, looking at Felix. She still didn't trust Krista yet. She needed to hear it from Felix.
-
The silence that fell upon the room told the cold-hearted truth. Finally, someone spoke up.
“If it makes you feel better, Rasia, I think he likes you better than Krista.” Axel said with a grin.
Those words didn’t change the horrid situation though. Felix was just like Axel. He was just like everyone else in this forsaken room. A murderer. Nothing could change this fact. -
"Felix," Kenna whispered slowly, hoping with all her heart that he would answer the negative, but also dread and fear that his answer would be affirmative. "Are you going to-to do to me w-what you did to Krista?"
-
“If it didn’t work the first time, then it most certainly wasn’t going to work the second. No, I had no intention of harming a single strand of hair on your head, my dear.” Felix whispered silently, meaning every word with all of his heart.
-
Rasia wanted to believe him. She so wanted to, but she couldn't. She shook her head, backing away from everyone. "I don't - I can't - I'm sorry, I just - I don't know."
-
“Rasia, dear, would you like to step outside and take a deep breath of fresh air?” Krista asked, noticing how much Rasia was starting to panic. “Being in a room of killers must be stressful.”
-
Rasia shook her head, not wanting to go anywhere with Krista or anyone. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know who she could trust.
-
”Are you sure, dear? You seem like you could use a breath of fresh air.” Krista asked, although her question was everything but sweet.
-
"I said no," Rasia said with a glare. "And I'll ask you to stop pretending like you actually care. You're a terrible actress."
-
“I don’t care, you’re right.” Krista admitted. She didn’t look guilty at all, instead flicking a strand of her silky smooth black hair over her shoulder, a smug grin still plastered on her face. “I suppose I just sympathize with you. Besides that, I also can’t have my new client passing out due to fear right when I’ve just entered the scene, now can I?”
-
"New client?" Raisa asked in confusion?
