"Ok," Ruby said. "A-are you ok?" She asked Zack, noticing the slightest bit of pain showing on his face.

"Yes." He lied to her, trying not to cry. Not because of the pain or his father. Because he knew that Ruby would say no.

"No, you're not," Ruby said, her voice very soft and gentle. "I can see it in your face that you're not. What's wrong? Is it your chest? Or something else..? Or both..?" -
"No, it;'s okay." He didn't growled, and he didn't want to push her away but this hurt to much for him to explain.

Ruby could tell that he wasn't comfortable with explaining she decided to leave it be for the time being. The girl nodded and bit her lip.

The door slide open revealing Max. "Hi, Hi." She said with not much ethusiam.

Ruby looked over to Max and waved gently. "Hey," she greeted. "Everything ok?"

"Yeah, of course." She sat at the end of the bed. "Actually, you may have pissed off his father?"

Ruby looked down and sighed. "Yeah, I was expecting that," she said.

"He is saying that Zack did some amazing work making you so full of rage, how he did it nobody knows." Max frowned. "And...He wants Zack to explain how to him when he is healed."

Ruby turned red and buried her face in her hands.

"How am I gonna do that?" Zack said with panic and confusion written on his face.
Max shook her head, "You didn't train her to do that did you Zack?"
"Uh, no." Zack responded. -
"Yeah, he didn't," Ruby said, her words muffled by her hands.

"Then what is he to do?" Max said as her voice rose up making it seem to echo in the room.
