"Do like the girl wants you to little brother." Taylor smirked and put her hands on her hips.

Ruby gained a flustered expression and shrank back.

"See, people listen to me." Taylor snapped at him, she flipped her hair over her shoulder. "People don't listen to you though."

Ruby sat down and didn't speak- her timid nature seemed to take control again.

Taylor laughed and left the room, but before doing so she grabbed Max's arm and dragged her out.

Ruby quietly hoped that Max was going to be ok before turning to Zack "So we're gonna have to deal with her now?" She asked.

"We just gotta hope she don't drive us to death." Zack repsonded his face pale.

Ruby's face paled. "Yeah..."

"She was never nice so she may kill all of us by getting us caught." Zack responded.

Ruby sighed and looked down. “...how do you feel about your father, y’know, dying?” She asked cautiously. She then stiffened and shook her head vigorously. “I mean- you don’t have to answer that! I was just asking.”

"I don't care." He had a hardness in his voice, like he would have liked to be the one killing him.

Ruby nodded. “I kind of feel bad,” she said, looking down. “I mean, I feel guilty for feeling glad. That he died. He can’t hurt you anymore so I’m glad, but I- I feel guilty for feeling glad that someone’s dead...”
