"What wings" he said, frowning at her.

"You know, the feathers on your back. You had wings just like I do," Jessie said, spreading their wings. "Although maybe a little less tattered."

He visibly flinched when she spread her wings, scratching at his arms

Jessie folded their wings back in, not wanting to scare him. "Don't you feel that they're missing?" they said, puzzled.

He didn't answer, seeming conflicted

"How about this," Jessie said, straightening their back to look more formal. "I'll help you find your wings and you can decide whether you want to come back or not. Deal?"

He looked conflicted, sinking his claws into his arms before eventually nodding

Jessie smiled, using the cloth to rub away the dirt and blood on their face before offering Error a hand to help him up.

He stared at their hand for several long seconds before eventually taking it, being mindful of his claws

Jessie gave Error's hand a comforting squeeze before letting go, brushing off their feathers scattered on their clothes. "Ready?"

"I guess" he said quietly, still nervous

Jessie shoved the cage door open and strolled to freedom. "How did you teleport? I've never seen that before."

He visibly flinched at that "don't know. Something Master did. Can't remember" he said quietly, hesitating in the doorway of his cage. He looked scared.

"Go on," Jessie urged him, stepping out onto the fresh grass and offering Error their hand to help them out. "It's alright."

Errors gaze flicked over to the Corpse still laying in the grass "hes dead, right? Hes not coming back?
