Jessie flinched away, expecting to get hurt. When no blows followed, they cracked one eye open. Had his horns always been that big? They drew the cloth away and set it down on the floor, frustration eating them up.

He resumed clawing at himself, the edges of the wounds glowing red before healing almost as fast as he made them

"Erratum," Jessie said with a frown. "Hurting yourself like that isn't going to help you. Don't you want to get out of here?"

He shook his head quickly, seeming panicked

"Why not?" Jessie said, tilting their head to show curiosity. "There's nothing to do here." -
Its ok :3)
"Can't." He said quietly, his voice flat and broken sounding, like he had given up -
"I'm here to help you," Jessie said, going to wrap their wing around Erratum but flinching back when they saw its ruined state. "I'm here to bring you home."

He flinched when she touched him, slowly turning his head to look at her, seeming confused "this is home?" He said, gesturing to the cage

Jessie shook their head, their short mop of reddish brown hair swishing gently from side to side. "This isn't your real home. You've forgotten who you are."

Error growled at her, but seemed more annoyed then anything

"Do you know why your wings are gone?" Jessie said, hoping to peak his interest.
