Error held onto their back, ignoring his masters yelling as the man fell
-
Jessie dove down to catch the warlord, stretching their arms out to try to save the man before impact.
-
Error hesitated for a momemt before abruptly striking one of their wings, forcing it to open and away from the warlord, who hit the ground with a sickening Crunch
-
Jessie angled themself so that they wouldn't end up in a similar fate to the warlord and ended up ramming into the ground, beaten up but alive. They growled in anger. "GET OFF ME!" they snapped at Error.
-
Error ended up tumbling off of her when they hit the ground, making a pained sound when he stopped rolling. He slowly got back to his feet, one of his legs twisted at a funny angle, and backed off, his eyelights flickering to the corpse in fear
-
Jessie folded and unfolded their tattered wings, their chest filling up with dread. Their wings...they were broken. They wrapped themself into a tight little ball, although the missing feathers made them quite visible.
-
Error took a step towards his cage before making a pained noise as he fell, his leg giving out with a sharp snap. He stared at it for a few second before hw just twisted it back into place, pausing for a few seconds to let i heal before hauling himself to his feet and walking to his cage, curling up by the rungs he is normally chained too
-
Jessie crawled toward the warlord to find a pulse, but knew it was helpless. They shivered, retracting their hand and inching back. They looked at Error and their wings pulsed in pain. They wanted to be angry but when they actually looked at him...they couldn't.
Jessie crawled into the cage, sitting down next to Error. Who cared if he attacked them? It wasn't anything new, honestly. They'd probably failed at this point and leaned against the bars of the cage, feeling disappointed with themself. -
Error watched her for a while, not moving. He eventually shifted his gaze to the corpse, staring at it for a few seconda with a strange look on his face, before slowly lifting a clawed hand and striking his throat, his claws slicing through the bone with ease
-
-
-
Jessie jumped to keep him from hurting himself, taking his hands urgently but gently and trying to ease them away from his neck. "Hurting doesn't help," they said. "It just makes you hurt outside too."
-
He bared his teeth at her still trying to claw at his throat as his blood spilled down his chest
-
Jessie tore off a piece of their shirt (which wasn't that hard because it was already ripped up from their fight with Error) and dabbed at the blood, soaking it up with the cloth and trying to stop it from pouring out of the wound.
-
Error recoiled away from her, seeming scared as he hissed. Strangly, the horns on his head appeared to have grown several inches
