She shrugged. "I added all edible parts of the rabbit. No part of any animal must be wasted, especially during harsh times like these."

"Rabbits dont have any fat" he said, blinking at her "so if you eat too much of it without adding fat from another source, youll get sick"

She tilted her head. "Well, I usually eat in small amounts, but I guess I can add some moose fat." She gets some moose fat from a jar. "Fat has grease in it and is also good for attracting larger, better meat sources. I usually keep some on hand." She adds the fat.

He nodded in understanding "the only reason i know that is i had a friend that keeps rabbits" he said with a soft giggle

She looked confused. "Why would you keep an animal in your home?" -
Yes, it be.)
"Oh, she raised them for food." He explained "but i think some people keep pets? -
"What's a pet?"

He paused, thinking. "I think its just keeping an animal without intent to kill it, for companionship

"That's odd. I'd kill it or something by winter." She mused.

The stew turned a rich brown and a sweet, slightly tangy aroma filled the air. "It's almost done. Can you get the wooden bowls from the cave-hole with dishware?"

He nodded and grabbed them,yelping as he tripped over his wings

She stirred the stew for a few more minutes before putting some in each bowl, and handing one to Era. "Here."

He took it with a smile "thank you!

She nodded, and sat on one of the makeshift chairs. "Are you thirsty?" She asked, for the stream ran through her cave, and inside the cave it wasn't frozen.
