Noticing he was a skeleton, she was surprised, and flinched slightly. "Do you have the strength to come with me, to my cave? You'll be warmer there." Likalca explained.

He hesitated before he tried to get up, the snow collapsing under his weight and just making a bigger hole

She led him to her cave, which was a little ways away, but when they got there, despite the cold, it was beautiful. Frozen streams were solidified around it, and icicles hung from trees. You couldn't tell it was a cave, though she knew she had built half of it herself, stone by stone. She pushed open a secret door and led Era inside.

Era marveled at all the ice, making little noises of his amasement as he followed her

When they came inside, the temperature was still cool, though much more withstandable than the extreme temperatures outside. Soon she was able to get a fire started. "Hungry?"

He looked around as he followed her in, making a little "hm?" When he heard her before he caught on to what she said "oh! Yes!

"I killed a moose yesterday, and I have some bread I stole from a large wooden cave thing. I don't have much, because it's winter. What would you like?" Likalca asked. There was a bear fur rug in front of the fire that was in a whole in the cave wall, and a few makeshift chairs made of rock covered in deer skins were around here and there.

He paused, thinking about it. "Ill take a little bit of bread" he said, grabbing his massive wings to yank them closer to his body

She used a clean, relatively sharp stone to slice off some bread. It was the thick, dense, filling kind. She got two slices, put them on a plate, and brought them to him.

He took the plate carefully, balancing it on his lame hand "thank you" he said happily, still shivering a little

She noticed this, and retrieved a thick fur blanket from a pile of furs and skins, and handed it to him. "Mammoth skins. Mammoths aren't actually extinct. Myth."

He blinked at her "i dont even know what a mammoth is

She blinked, slightly surprised. "Okay... do you know what an elephant is?"
