She barely paid him any notice while she took out the bones and stripped the organs away from the flesh.

He slowly stretched out his wings before pulling them back around himself, watching her curiously

She put the bones in a pile for later, and put the meat in a pot to stew for breakfast. She got the fire going again, and added some water, salt, and dried nuts to the pot.

"Whatcha doin?

"Making breakfast." She responded, adding some ground up
dried spices to the pot, stirring it occasionally with a wooden spoon. -
He got up and walked over to watch "can i help?

She paused, as if to think, then nodded. "It's rabbit meat, so deer broth will go well with it. Get the deer bones, there should be some near the deer skins."

He walk over to do what she said, grabbing the bones "those?

Likalca nodded. "Put three or four in the pot."

He put them in the pot, being careful not to splash

"Just because it's meat doesn't mean it always has to be savory- it can be sweet, too. Can you get me the jar of honey?" She asked, pointing to it.

He nodded and grabbed it. "You wait the meats rabbit right?

Likalca nodded again. "It's fresh, I caught it last night. I was lucky, they are decent sized." She took the honey and pored just a few drops in. "We have to use this very sparingly, we can't get more until spring." -
"Did you add any fat?" He asked, nodding at what she said about the honey
