"I don't know... like, were you born with them?"

He blinked "oh, no. They grew in on my 15th birthday

"How fast did they grow?" She asked

He rubbed his chin in thought "i think it took a few weeks, if you count the feathers growing in

She tilted her head in thought. "Do you know why?"

She got up and walked over to a hole-in-the-wall to grab a coat. "Do you want to go out with me today? I have plenty of fur coats."
