"Supper's ready!" Joan called.

Crystal's face turned from annoyed to ecstatic.
She gave Georgie a high five and went to wherever the dining room was. -
Ethan followed the two girls into the dining room. His mom had made spaghetti.

“It smells delicious!" Callyn exclaimed, staring it the spaghetti in awe. -
(Callyn?)
"It's a family recipe," Joan explained. She sat down and so did Ethan and Georgie. -

"I'd love to know the ingredients." Crystal said. "That is if you're willing to give them to me?" -
"Unfortunately, no," Joan said. "It took me forever to pry this recipe out of my mom's hands. She's a very stubborn woman."

"Mom's can be like that.” Crystal chuckled. "They'll slap your hands away if you try to open up their cookbook."

Joan nodded. "So how do you two know each other?" she asked, referring to Crystal and Ethan.

"School." Crystal replied.

"Yes,but how is it that you -"
"I already told you mom, I'm tutoring her."
Joan set her son with a glare for interrupting her. -
"He’s actually really good at teaching.” Crystal said.

"Really," she said. "I knew he was a smart boy, but I never really thought he was cut out to be a teacher."
"Wow, really feeling the love and encouragement," Ethan said with a roll of his eyes. -
Crystal chuckled and shot Ethan a smirk.
“Well, he wasn't THE BEST one at first. The poor boy kept stammering." Crystal said with a small laugh. -
"I did not!" Ethan said. "I just struggle to put my thoughts and what I know into words."
