Crystal's heart pummeled to her feet. No... nonono! This couldn't be happening!
"U-uh, Polly's parents don’t like her being at other peoples houses." Crystal said, trying to keep her tone steady so she didn't stutter. -
"Oh," her mom looked a little disappointed. "Well maybe next time I can pick you up from your tutoring session."

"Oh, mom, that would be so awkward." Crystal said, chuckling nervously. "I don't want you seeing how bad I am at school."

"But I won't be seeing your schoolwork. I'll just be there to pick you up," she said.

Crystal couldn't argue with that.
"But mommmmmm," she whined. -
"No buts," she said.

Crystal yelled in anger and dug her fists into her hair, stomping to the staircase and then stomping up the stairs to her room.
Oh boy, she was gonna need a miracle. -
Her mom couldn't understand why her daughter was so frustrated about all this. Probably puberty.

Crystal waited for Ethan by his locker. The plan was to ask if he could somehow make it look like he was a girl.
When Ethan showed up, Crystal grinned and waved her hands.
"Ethan, Ethan! I need to ask you something." Crystal exclaimed. -
"What?" he asked as he opened his locker.

"I need you to become a girl." Crystal deadpanned.

Ethan blinked at her. "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that," he said as he continued situating things in his locker.

"Nononono! I just need you to wear a dress and maybe some makeup? Ooh, and also a wig!" Crystal said, a little bit TOO excited. She noticed Ethan’s face and coughed awkwardly into her fist. "What I meant was, my mom isn't cool with me being around the opposite gender.." she glanced at Ethan apologetically. "So she would absolutely blow her top if she thought some guy was tutoring me. I may have or may have not lied about your identity, and my mom wants to meet this 'Polly' girl now."
