"You can have my totem." Shayla said looking at the boys. "Or I can just leave you here......." She said with no mercy. "You're choice." She then started mesmerizing people again.
-
"Great! We start once I get the rest of the crew." Spes informed him. "I'll be back in a moment." She added before heading over to the two boys. Looks like someone else was trying to sign them on, she wasn't looking for competition. She was about to turn to look for someone else when the woman stated her deal. Spes smirked and turned back, then approached the men. "Wow, you'd be willing to give a single totem for two men? Qualified men by the sounds of it." Spes asked the woman with a sarcastic tone. "And here I was going to offer a percentage of the Totems I plan to collect to each of them. And I do plan to collect a lot of totems." Spes went on, the clever smirk still on her face. "Of course, which deal would the two of you prefer?" Spes asked, making it clear they had a choice.
-
Gale saw the woman captain come near them and tell them of the choice. Gale then said "Hey, she's right. My friend here is the finest chef in all the land and your gonna just give him a Totem between the two of us? What kind of deal is that?" Mason then retorted "I bet she doesn't even have a crew like she said."
-
Shayla glared at Spes. "Don't force them to choose!" She snapped. "I plan on not having a crew anyways." Shayla said walking away. "And I am going to kill you!" She then left where Spes was standing.
-
Mason said "Kill us?!" Gale put his arm around his friend and said "Aww, it's just a threat. Don't mean nothing. Besides, I'd like to see her try and kill us." Gale then looked at the woman captain and said "We accept your offer, Captain ummm.....what's your name?"
-
Spes raised an eyebrow at the woman, chuckling a bit before turning to the men, offering her hand. "My name's Spes." She told them. Now she was glad that she got those two out of working for that woman. Then again, they probably weren't going to agree either way. Hopefully the woman's threats wouldn't be a problem.
-
Orwin picked a salt crystal off of his shirt and flicked it off to some obscure place, observing Spes at work from afar. It looked like she had gotten more crewmates already. Hopefully they wouldn't be any trouble.
-
Gale stood up and shook Spes' hand. He said "Trust me, you won't regret this." He then let go and said "So when do we shove off for the vast seas?"
-
Shayla hummed a Melody to herself but it then became a song. "♪The seas of blue are so cute that I just wish to swim in it. I just hope no one will catch me swimming in the seas of blue.♪" Shayla kept singing her little melody. "♪One day I will explore the seas of blue! I will swim across the sea! And so much more to see!♪" she then turned to look at Orwin.
-
“Well, I still need one more person, since it takes two to use the Oars. Then again, I could just let Silva use the other oar for now until we get another crew mate.” Spes replied, noticing the girl had turned to face Orwin. Spes was confident she could protect the boy if needed, so she stayed cautious but did not act just yet. “I’ll go get our look out, then we can head for the ship whenever you’re ready.” Spes then informed them before heading over to Orwin. “I think we can go whenever you’re all ready now.” She told him with a smile, still having her guard up to the other girl.
-
Orwin shot the other girl a defensive look, feeling an uncomfortable squirm in his stomach before nodding to Spes. He pushed his chair back and got up. "I'm ready," he said confidently.

Shayla continued singing her song and then got up going to get dressed. Shayla lived near the dock. She works at the bar and it's time for her shift. Why am I always alone? she thought getting into uniform. She sighed. "♪I work alone and I die alone. No friends to talk to nor share happiness with. I'm a lone wolf. Awoooh!♪" -

"Are you two ready to go?" Spes asked Gale and Mason after nodding to Orwin. She then gave the woman at the bar a sceptical look. Hadn't she just tried to hire two ship workers for her crew? Then she proceeded to threaten them, then went on to work at the bar, and continued even further to sing a song about hoe lonely she was? What a completely odd and illogical woman. Spes walked towards the Tavern doors, waiting for the others. She didn't want to risk staying any longer, in case this woman tried something.
