Shayla started to sing another lovely melody. "♪I belong somewhere beyond the sea! What if someone here misses me tho. Why am I so shy when I meet someone? I try to stay calm. I try to stay cool. But my temp gets out of control. Why am I so threatening? I'm so fustrated. I'm just a little b----!!!!!♪" when she was done singing she was ready for some customers.

Gale said "Yeah, let's get going. But first we need to go and pick up my cat." He and Mason walked with Spes to the tavern doors. They were staying at an inn in town and hopefully they could swing by and grab Gale's cat cause he doesn't go on a crew without him.

Orwin put his hand on his cutlass in a protective manner, getting weirded out by the singing girl. He didn't want to use it, especially not on a woman, but if worst came to worst than he would be happy to have it. He followed after Spes, shooting a glance behind him before exiting the bar.

"Alright, let's go." She agreed, walking out of the bar. She followed the others to the Inn, feeling confident so far. Hopefully she could keep this crew around without them selling the Totems they collected. Of course, even if they sold their share, she could just steal them again. It would just mean this would take longer than she hoped. She studied the town of Pirates, getting an idea of how Pirate Captains acted so she could mimic their behaviour.

Gale soon got Spike out of their room while Mason paid the innkeeper with some of his meager savings. Gale showed Spike to Spes and said "This is Spike. He's been my cat for 6 years." Mason said "He was with us on our last ship. He caught the mice."

(Well there's no in character reason to employ her after she threatened them like that. Besides she's made it clear that she's already employed or working for another crew. Other than the song, which would most likely be taken as guilt tripping or just plain ignorance by them. First impressions are important when you're hiring.)
Spes studied the cat with a smile. "Hello Spike." She greeted. "I'm hoping you'll be as much of an asset to my crew as you have been to others, even if not, you can definitely be our mascot." Spes went on cheerfully. "So is there anything else you three need to add?" Spes then asked the three boys. -
(Oh that makes sense.)
Shayla went back to her house and brought out her second totem. She disguised herself as a beautiful young 21 year old woman with long brunette hair, green eyes, and has chocolate brown skin. She also changed her voice to a deep yet little high pitched voice. Shayla also disguised her name as Yuki. She then went into the inn and asked the inn keeper where Spes and her crew was. "Excuse me. Do you know a crew of pirates who went through here?" She asked. -
Also if she's staring at Orwin, he's going to get pretty uncomfortable lol))
Orwin shook his head. "No, I carry everything I have with me," he said, before turning to Gale with puppy eyes. "Can I...pet your cat?" -

Shayla saw where the inn keeper was pointing and she walked right in that direction. She then opened the door. "Hello. My name is Yuki." Shayla said. "Your name must be Spes correct?" She asked Spes. -
Gale said "Anyone's allowed to pet him but he's not really trusting of strangers. He almost didn't let me pet him when we first met."

Spes raised an eyebrow at the stranger. How did she know Spes’s name? Who was she? Spes had not made a name for herself, nor had she been acquainted with any Humans besides these three, and the girl that threatened them. She looked nothing like the Bartender that might have overheard her name, nor did she look like that woman. Perhaps her totem somehow allowed her to transform? She certainly wasn’t a Nymph. Still... If this was the woman from earlier... Or one of the bartenders, or even someone that overheard, that meant she would be good for espionage... “That depends, who wants to know? And how do you know my name?” Spes asked, crossing her arms.

Orwin sighed, wishing he could squish the cat in a bear hug. "Alright then. I'll give him space."

"I do." Shayla said politely. "My name is Layla." She said as she held her hand out to Spes.
