Spes nodded and smiled at the younger crew mate. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. "Alright then, if that's the case, we should find out where she went." Spes replied before walking down the halls, gesturing for the other three to follow.
-
Orwin felt a warm feeling in his chest at Spes' approval, but a nagging thought was at the back of his head. Who was to say that she wouldn't do that to all of them, using them and then tossing them aside when they were no longer helpful?
-
Mason said "Come on, Gale." and they both began following Spes. Gale did hope that being a liar wouldn't get them in hot water. He really didn't know that much about being a navigator and said that to up his and Mason's asking price. Hopefully it wouldn't matter.
-
"You okay Orwin?" Spes asked as they walked down the hall. She could see the boy was worried, and she wanted to make sure her crew could trust her so she could trust them.
-
Orwin nodded, not meeting Spes's eyes. He didn't want her to see the confusion and distrust that lay there. "I'm fine, just feeling a little off today."

(Anyone else got anything to say? I got nothing.)
-
(I have nothing.)

(I just went :T)

(Sorry I've been trying to think about how I'm going to include Emo's character in this. I have an idea.
We could have the group just go without her and not hire her, but then when the Council begins to investigate Spes they take Shayla in as a witness. When they learn about Shayla's attitude towards Spes, they train her and teach her proper deception. Then they send her back in while Spes's crew are in danger during a mission. She saves them, and requests to join Spes's crew, explaining that she had heard rumours of the crew and wished to be part of it.
During this time she acts as a spy for the Council, informing them in secret what the crew is doing.) -
Yes.)

(Alright)
As Spes and the others left the Inn, she noticed that Silva was having difficulty fighting off an angry group of Pirates, the very Pirates she had stolen that ship from. “Actually, we may not have time to bring that girl on... Seems like my first mate is in trouble.” Spes informed the crew before running off to the ship. This was probably for the best, since that women would most likely be a liability if not a threat.
She leapt into the battle that Silva was caught in, drawing out her sword as she met blades with the other Captain. “I want my ship back lassie.” The Captain ordered, one of his crew mates pulling Spes back by the hair. Spes growled and cut her hair short with her blade, then swung it back on the flat end to push away the Captain. She grabbed Silva away from two other Pirates, fending them off as Silva ran onto the ship. “Get on, I‘ll be right with you.” Spes ordered her crew as she kept the other Pirates away from them. -
(Something I probably should have asked, do any of us have guns? Pirates usually have guns.)
Gale smiled at the prospect of fighting another crew this quickly but Mason had other plans. He grabbed Gale before the could join the fray and ran with him to the ship like Spes told them. Gale still wanted to help so from the ship he activated his totem and started charging his lightning. -
Honestly, that's a good question. I'd like to hear the answer too))
Orwin fought between being obedient and being brave. He finally decided to go to the ship. Spes had things covered and she was likely going to hop onto the boat. If anything went awry however... -
(I suppose they could have guns.)
“I’ll be taking that totem back young lady.” The former Captain declared as he charged at her, but she dropped her sword, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and with her crew safely out of range, she let out a Siren screech that caused the enemy crew to cover their ears. She then tossed the unconscious Captain into the ocean, chuckling as two men leapt off the dock to retrieve him. She picked up her sword and met the blade of another Pirate, letting out a sonic scream again before pushing him down and climbing onto the ship. As she prepared the ship to set sail, one of the enemy Pirates lunged at the ship and grabbed at the ropes that dangled from it. “Silva, are these ropes important?” Spes asked when she noticed this. “We have more in storage, they can be replaced.” Silva replied. “Good.” Spes replied, attempting to saw through the rope with her sword as the pirate neared the top of the rope. “Someone knock him down while I finish cutting this damn rope.” Spes ordered her crew. -
Orwin aimed a powerful kick at the guy's head. The pirate's grip on the rope loosened and he fell into the water with a loud splash, swearing furiously at Spes as he tried to swim back to the ship.
