Callyn's eyes widened and she tried to push down the blush that crept to her face at Turner's compliment.
"Well, apparently he thinks very highly of you," Parker said, turning back to her. "Maybe you've gotten better."
Out of nowhere, he grabbed her chin. "What do you say," he said as his hand snaked around her waist, "how about a kiss. For old time's sake?"
Callyn tried shaking her head, but his hand prevented her head from moving. She tried moving backwards but his arm held her in place. He was too strong. Her eyes widened as he leaned in. She was just about to try pushing him away when suddenly Turner intervened.
(NOW NOW NOW) -
Turner wasted no time in flinging himself at Callyn's shady ex. Both of the guys tumbled to the ground, Turner being above Parker.
Turner made a tight fist with his hands and landed a firm blow on Parker's face, one that was bound to leave a harsh bruise later.
"You better keep your filthy hands off of MY girlfriend. I am Turner Douglas, the famous, rich, handsome as heck singer. And much more handsome than you, at that. I have the power to make your measly life a living Hell. If you don’t back off, you'll get much more than a stupid bruise." -
Parker glared at him then threw a punch back, ignoring the warning that had just been given to him. While Turner was distracted, he got back on his feet.
Callyn gasped when Parker hit Turner back. She stood there, not knowing what to do. What were you supposed to do when two guys were fighting over you? -
Turner growled in frustration and punched Parker in the gut.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" Turner yelled. -
Parker doubled over in pain. But, soon, he was back standing up straight.
"I think you're the stupid one," he said. "Going for someone as worthless as Callyn Rosenfeld."
"Okay, enough!" Callyn yelled before things could get any more heated. She stalked over to the two boys, forgetting her cane behind her, completely forgetting she needed it to walk. But she was doing perfectly find without it.
"Turner, let it go," she said. "Parker, you'd better leave before I call the cops."
"He attacked me!" Parker said dramatically.
"And I could get you for trespassing and attempted assault, Turner was just trying to get you off me," Callyn snapped as she crossed her arms.
Parker scowled at her. "Well - "
"Leave," Callyn glared at him. "Now." -
*Parker cursed under his breath, then turned around walking away from her house.

Turner immediately jumped up from the ground and grabbed Callyn’s arm, guiding her to her walker.
"Hey, are you okay? That Parker dude was creepy as all heck.” Turner said, cringing a bit. -

"Yeah, but I should be asking you that," Callyn said stopping to look at his face. His lip had been busted. She brushed her finger over the wound. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up," she said, guiding him to the front of her house. -

A soft pink blush dusted over his face. The small, quick touch had been gentle one his sore lip. It made his stomach erupt with evolved caterpillars that had turned into beautiful butterflies. -
The cane lay abandoned in the driveway of her house. Callyn didn't even notice she wasn't walking without it. Right now she was focused on Turner.
As soon as they walked into the house, they were met with a horrible stench. You see, the ice in the bucket she had used as a makeshift fridge had melted and the food that was in it had gotten rotten. So there was a disgusting mix of bad water and food in this bucket. -
Turner's nose wrinkled. He pinched the bridge of his nose and winced slightly.
“What on Earth is that smell?” He questioned. -
"Food that's been rotting in here for about two months?" Callyn said.

"I want to say that doesn’t smell bad, but it does.” Turner shot her an apologetic look.

"You'd be insane to say that that doesn't smell bad," Callyn said. She made her way to the bucket and grabbed the handle of it.
