"What?!" Callyn nearly shouted. "You were planning on paying?" How long had he been planning that?

"Callyn, do you even know the kind of person I am? Of course, I’m gonna pay! You’re my… bestest friend.” Turner forced a smile at having to call Callyn a friend. He wanted much more than that.

Callyn blinked. She sat forward in her chair again. She'd been fighting him about this for months. Maybe she should let him win.
"Alright," she said with a nod. "You win." -
Turner smirked and let out a happy laugh. "Oh, Cally, you are going to be spoiled rotten today!”

Callyn let out a groan. "Don't make me regret this," she muttered as they neared the furniture store.

Turner cackled like an evil witch in response. Oh, today would be quite the joyous day to spend money! Turner turned left and parked into an empty parking spot. He got out of the driver’s seat and opened the door for Callyn.
“M’lady?” -
(Now we know one of his love languages is gifts)
Callyn let out a little chuckle at how his manners never seemed to cease. She got out of the car and they walked into the gigantic furniture store.
"Ok, first things first, necessities," Callyn said. "A stove and a washer and drier. -
(I just realized Turner still has a busted up face from Parker)

(It’s only a matter of time before he tries to act all tough and cool because of it. XD)
Turner raised a single eyebrow. "What about a table?” -
"I can use my lap for a while," Callyn said. "We're refurnishing a whole house, do you really think we can get buy everything today?"

Turner nodded his head, his face blank.
“Why? Is it hard to do so?” -
Callyn blinked. "Turner, that's thousands of dollars!"

Tutner fluttered his eyelashes at her and gave her a dazzling smile. "That I have, right in this card of mine.”

Right, you know a millionaire, Callyn reminded herself. "We'd still have to get everything inside and arranged and things like that," she said. "It will take at least a day figuring out what we want, then at least another day getting everything where we want in the house."

"Oh, well we could contact some home furnishers and have them do the work? It shouldn’t take very long!” Turner chirped happily.
