"Yes, but I grow unused to them over time or they taste alright. It isn't terribly often when someone gets hurt, but when they do, I just shove the disgust down," Jadestone said, licking her paw.

He nodded. "Okay. Can I go see my mother?"

"Sure, I don't see why not. You've already been around Rainkit," Jadestone said, smiling. "She's going to make a wonderful warrior."

Nightpelt purred and rasped her tongue over his ear. "Hello! Are you feeling better?" -
"A little sore, but that's better than what it could be." He mewed. "Where's Rainkit?"

"She's out playing with Stillkit and Moonkit," Nightpelt said with an amused purr. "She doesn't know yet, but she's becoming my apprentice tonight."

"Who's Moonkit?" He asked, confused.

"Oh, Stillkit's sister," Nightpelt said, waving a paw wearily. "Don't tell anyone, but I think there's something wrong with Cottonkit. She hasn't been outside to play since she was born."

"Maybe she's deaf or blind." He mewed.

"Whatever it is, Sightfall hasn't been letting me come see," Jadestone said with a huff. "But she can't hide Cottonkit forever. I just hope whatever happens doesn't get worse."

"Hmmmmmmmmmm..." He thought about it for a moment. "I could harass Treeslash into letting me see?"
