Drakestorm padded across camp.

Stillkit bounced into the air and caught it, before seeing Drakestorm. "Hi, Drakestorm!" he chirped. "Do you have any more stories?"

Drakestorm purred in amusement. “I do, but I doubt Treeslash will let me tell you them. Except one of them. Want to hear a story about your father?”

Stillkit shook his head. "No, I've already heard that one from Bluefly. Tell me about her!"

“About who, Bluefly?” He asked, hiding disappointment.

Stillkit nodded. "You two are married, right? Tell me why you married her!"
Rainkit padded over, interested in the story too. -
"Because she's one of the best cats I've ever met, of course, beside my mother. Do you want to hear how I met her?" He asked, glancing at Bluefly.

"Ye-es!" Stillkit said warmly. Unbeknownst to either of them, Treeslash had one ear pricked towards them, listening in.

"Well, when I came here from InfernoClan, a lot of cats here strongly disliked me. But then my mother introduced me to Bluefly, and she was amazing! She used to be in InfernoClan too, so she understood what it was like there. Most cats here don't." He explained. "We went hunting a lot together, and we both really liked each other." Drakestorm finished, skipping a lot of details. Kits didn't need to know everything, he decided.

"Woah!" Stillkit said, his tail waving excitedly. "When did you know that you loved her?"

"Almost as soon as I saw her." He admitted.

Stillkit purred. "I'll know who I love right away then!"
Rainkit smiled wide at the love story. "You and Mommy are really in love, right?" -
"Yep." Drakestorm mewed with a purr. "Do you two want to hear any other stories? I'm surprised your father hasn't gotten his tail in a twist from me telling you more stories." He said to Stillkit, clearly joking.

Stillkit laughed. "Father doesn't mind as long as they're nice stories. Reedpelt isn't allowed to tell me stories anymore."

His ear flicked at the name. "Why? What'd he say that's supposedly bad?" He asked.
