Bluefly looked around. She had slept for a long time and was surrounded by her family. She gave Drakestorm a lick on the head when she felt a piercing pain course through her body. The kits were coming! But it seemed too soon, at least a week too early?

Bluefly looked at Jadestone and an unspoken message passed between them. The black and white she-cat nudged Drakestorm and Nightpelt awake as Bluefly solemnly munched on some herbs. -
If Bluefly dies I'm legit going to cry. Make at least one kit survive, please))
Drakestorm snored like a chainsaw. -

Jadestone jumped on Drakestorm. "Get up!" -
Drakestorm yawned. "Treeslash, that was my mouse..." He muttered in his sleep, then opened his eyes. "Huh? Wha-?"

Jadestone sighed, half-exasperated, half-amused. "Bluefly's kitting early."

He jerked himself to his paws, his eyes wide and alarmed. "WHAT?"

"Yes, so we're going to need room for her," Jadestone said, before dropping her voice down to a whisper. "I'm not sure if all the kits will make it. I'll do my best."

He trembled. "B-but they have to! They're strong!" Drakestorm mewed.

"It's quite early for her to be kitting," Jadestone said, her eyes flickering over to Bluefly, who looked both excited and determined. "May StarClan bless her and let us keep her."

He paced around nervously. "Is she going to be okay?"
She needs a stick to bite on when da pain comes)) -

Jadestone stuck a stick into Bluefly's mouth, who bit into it firmly. The dappled medicine cat avoided Drakestorm's eyes. "I-I hope so." -
He needs to get out of the way, he's going to get so nervous Bluefly becomes nervous))
He paced harder and faster.
