"Ah, thank you," Ander said. "You're more gentlemanly then I am, and you're not even a man!"

Kenna smiled a bit, then walked in after him.

The mood had lightened for a moment and Ander hated to dampen it again.

"So I know practically nothing about this organization," Kenna said.

"Right," Ander said, pulling out the tab. "This should tell you everything you need to know."

(I'm guessing it's Division, or not?)
(I really need to come up with a better name for the organization, it's not a name that I came up with)
Kenna took it and started reading. She was appalled that Ander had been a part of this group. -
Ander noticed her expression. "It's more alluring then you think," he explained. "They don't mention the negatives, only the prizes. They target orphans in particular, making them feel like they belong."

"They haven't targeted me, but I suppose it's obvious why," Kenna said.

"Please do explain," Ander said, giving her his undivided attention. -

(I was kind of thinking something in a different language, but I don't know which word(s))
Kenna sighed. "I was born crippled," she said. "My parents abandoned me when I was born because they didn't want to raise a disabled child. All I know is that my father is some higher up and not a good one. That one man I recognized before, somehow my father was involved in his brother's death and he was all too glad to take his vengeance on me. People are a little frightened of me, even, because they know who my father is and they fear I'll turn out like him. I don't know who he is, though. I don't even know his name."
Kenna realized that all of that had come out but she hadn't intended it to.
"I guess my point is that they wouldn't want a crippled person on their team to slow them down." -
Latin perhaps?))
"I think you're good just the way you are, Kenna," Ander said softly. He looked into her eyes for a moment before glancing away. "You don't need your leg to be powerful." -
(Latin is cool, but it's too commonly used.)
"Thank you," Kenna said quietly, still looking at him even though he had looked away. "It means a lot. I honestly don't know what I would have done without you." -
Roman? Greek? French?))
"Oh stop, you flatter me," Ander said humorously. "It was nothing." -
(Roman, maybe)
Kenna laughed. "I'm serious!" she said with a grin on her face.
