The sled started off with jostling and bumping, but eventually went a little smoother. They began to speed up and the woods passed by them quickly. A lone lilac waved goodbye to them from the clearing where the metal beast lay, still smoking.

Kenna stayed near the front of the sled. She wondered where they were going now. Where they would run next.

The lilac faded out of view and the next chapter of their story turned. Ander didn't know where he was going, but forward was enough for him. A new life was theirs for the taking and the possibilities had no end.
(Do you think we should put Ander and Kenna's story to rest here or that we should continue?) -
