For some reason, even though Kenna had just met Ander, she felt she trusted him. That didn't happen often. She wasn't sure what it was about him.

Ander set his mug down, finished with his tea. His tab buzzed and he raised his eyebrows.
"Will you excuse me for a moment? This seems important," he said. -
Kenna nodded. She took another sip of her tea. She had been too distracted by the cake to drink her tea, and now it was cooler than it was before.

Ander stepped outside and opened the pop up. It was a "Wanted" poster of Kenna and a few messages. They would be monitoring the civilians soon.

Kenna walked outside. "I should probably go," she said, "So that you can deal with whatever's wrong."

"I'm not sure that'd be wise," Ander said. "They're looking everywhere for you." -
"Are you sure?" Kenna asked. "I don't want you to have to bear with me while other things are going on."

Ander waved a hand dismissively, as if sweeping away her concerns. "Don't worry about it, it's fine."

"Ok..." Kenna said and went back inside. She sat back down and sipped the rest of her tea in thought.

Ander turned the tab off, returning it to its holder and wondering what to do. -
Kenna felt like there was something a little bit off with Ander, but it could easily be whatever this personal problem he was having was. She put her mug in the sink and sat back down.
