Ander leaned against the wall of his house, sighing deeply. He had a new assignment but he hadn't touched his tab. He didn't want to kill...again. Especially since this one was sure to be young. -
Kenna took some of her medicine and kept on walking, two hands and her right leg, then her left hand. It was a different way to walk, compared to normal people, but it was the way she was used to, and was the only way that she didn't loose her balance doing. The medicine helped with the pain.
She needed to find somewhere to stay. Fast. She speed walked, keeping her eyes peeled for somewhere. She saw a place and walked over towards it. She frantically knocked on the door hoping
that someone would answer. -
Ander opened it, a look of surprise washing over his face. He didn't usually have visitors, especially visitors like this new girl. "Hello," he said. "Do you need anything?"

"I'm being chased," Kenna said quickly. "Could I just – stay with you for a bit?" She understood.ifnhe said no, she was randomly popping up on his doorstep and asking to stay with him. She looked behind her. She didn't see anyone, but she knew they were still looking for her. This was the second time it had happened.

"Oh, sure," Ander said, looking a little concerned and confused. "Can I get you anything to eat or drink?"

Kenna walked inside. She shook her head. "No thanks," she said. She sighed. "Thank you for helping me," she said.

"No problem," Ander said. "Who's chasing you?"

Kenna sat down in a nearby chair and leaned her cane against the side of it. "I don't know," she said. "They abducted me about five months ago one time, and I managed to escape. They're trying to do it again."

"Man, that sucks," Ander said. "Don't worry, I won't let them get you. I'll try my best."

Kenna nodded. "Thank you," she said quietly. She thought about what had happened the first time. She didn't want it to happen again. It would probably be worse for her.

Ander went over to his tab to check it. He clicked on the folder and his heart almost stopped. It was her. The girl he had just promised to protect.

Kenna saw him freeze up. "What's wrong?" she asked.

"Nothing," Ander said, trying to come up with a plausible excuse. "Some personal stuff."
