"No, it's fine," he said. The robo dog's eyes glowed brighter for a moment, before returning to their normal state. He padded off to report to Crypta.

"Uh-oh," Kenna said, looking at the dog. She had a feeling that that dog was a sort of spy.

"Oh boy," Ander said.
Crypta turned to look down at the dog. "What?"
"Vocal and facial recognition acquired," he stated. "Kenna and Ander."
"Aw, he knows you now!" Crypta said, beaming. -
"Oh!" Kenna said. "That's cool. Kinda creepy too."

Ander almost deflated from relief. The robo dog's tail wagged happily. Other information had been acquired, but he wasn't manually required to tell Crypta any of it.
"That's so cute," Crypta said endearingly. "You can give him commands now. He likes you." -
Kenna kind of wanted to try it out, but she didn't couldn't think of anything. "You mean it chooses who it likes and doesn't like like a real dog?"

"Yep," Crypta said. "It can make things difficult, but I've found that he's more likely to tell good people from bad ones when he picks on his own. Robo, sit."
The dog sat and stared expectantly at Kenna. -
"...Do I give him a treat or something?" Kenna asked.

"Oh, you can give him these," Crypta said, handing Kenna some rusty metal pieces. "You can tell him to do things that dogs normally don't do."

Kenna took the pieces. "Umm..." she wasn't exactly sure of what to tell the dog to do. "Spin on your nose?"

The robo dog bent over and obliged, spinning like a top. Ander shook with suppressed laughter.

Kenna grinned and tossed the dog a treat. She handed the bits of metal to Answer..

Answer lol))
Ander caught them, smiling. The dog snapped up the metal treat and window-wipered its muzzle, turning eagerly to Ander.
"Do a double flip," Ander said. The dog jumped up unusually high, flipped twice and landed on its paws. He tossed the doggo his treat. -
(I've literally been fighting autocorrect all day lol)
Kenna took one out of Ander's hand. "Do a jig," she said excitedly.
