Ander coughed to cover up a bout of laughter. "Alrighty then."

Kenna looked at the world speeding past her. It felt so strange, seeing things from this level, feeling the thumping of the horse's hooves, and so on.
(I figured out a way for Ander to get away with all this) -
Alright, shoot))
Ander veered off of the main road, heading for the forest. Regal knew what to do. -
("It was my tenth kill. I wanted to have a little fun.")
Now they were off the pavement and going towards the forest. Kenna wondered where they were going. -
Oh, I like that, that's a good line))
Ander glanced behind them, concerned. -
(Thank ya kindly)
Kenna looked behind them also, wondering if he saw anything. -
*eyes RP* book))
Regal swerved to avoid trees, seeming to be well-accustomed to this forest.
(Speaking of which, I haven't even started writing "Revenge of the Raider" yet) -
(I have, but I haven't worked on it in months lol)
"Where are we going?" Kenna asked. Surely in the forest, there would be no one to hear them. -
I just kinda forgot XD))
"To a friend's place," Ander said. "I hope someone's home."
A small hut came into view and Regal slowed down.
(Plot twist: It's Crypta lol) -
(Oh my lol that would be interesting)
Kenna looked over Ander's shoulder to see a very small house. She loosened her grip on him when the horse slowed down. -
So this would be before she met your dude, I suppose. OH I'VE GOT IT))
When your dude was like, "Why did you help me?" she's like, "You remind me of someone"))
Ander hopped off of the horse, holding his hands out to help Kenna down. -
(I don't think she responded like that, though)
Kenna looked to both sides of the horse. She had gotten on, but how was she supposed to get down? Ander was on her left side, but she couldn't swing her bad leg over Regal's back. Even if she could, she feared accidentally kicking him. "You'll have to get on the other side," Kenna told Ander. She somehow managed to get both legs on the right side of the horse.
(Me remembering having this dilemma when I was six and riding a horse for the first time. I got on, but I didn't know how to get off.) -
True, it's too late))
Ander moved to the other side and held out his arms to catch her. "Don't worry, just slide off."
(Oof XD) -
"Umm..." Kenna scooched to the edge of the saddle, unsure of what she was doing. She scooched a little to far for her liking, though. "Agh!" she said, almost yelling as she slid into Ander's arms.
"I do not want to do that again," she said, looking up at him. -
