Kenna ran her hand through her hair with a sigh. Ander was the first person who had ever cared for her wellbeing. Dude couldn't just let him give up his life for her like that, but what could she do about it?

"We're being hunted down and I told her that she'll be safer without me," Ander said.
Crypta gasped. "You don't mean-"
"That's exactly what I mean," Ander said. "I'll need your help to protect her." -
It was comfortable weather outside. Kenna decided to stay outside for awhile. She stared off into space with a blank mind.

Crypta shook her head, her eyes filling up with tears. "I need a moment."
She headed outside, the dog following her. -
Jenna turned her head towards the door as she heard someone come through it. "Crypta," she said as she stood up.

"Oh!" Crypta said in surprise. "I didn't see you there."

"Yeah," Kenna said, not knowing what else to say.

Crypta leaned against the wooden railing next to her. "I don't know what to do," she said softly.

"Neither do I," Kenna said. She looked out towards the dark forest, holding back her tears, and doing a rather good job of it.

"I won't let him do what he's planning to do," Crypta said, her voice shaky. "He's the only friend I have left."

"Is he planning on leaving?' Kenna asked. She didn't know, all she knew was that he was willing to risk her life to save hers

"Yeah, I think so," Crypta said. "I'm going to try and talk him out of it."
She went inside and moments later, she ran back out, a piece of paper in her trembling hands. She offered it over to Kenna.
