Honestly, besides stressing over the workload, it’s been pretty great. Met some cool people and made friends, and the faculty in the department I’m majoring in are the best, they care about you . It’s the reason I chose to go to a small school, easier for the teacher and student to get to know each other better and get help for classes or just wanting advice in general

But sometimes the work do be a lot some days and gets to me, gets me thinking “man what if I just get a blue collar job” but I don’t really mean it lol

And sometimes when talking to my peers that are in the same department as me, I don’t feel as smart as I thought I was or when I don’t do good at something I start feeling like what if my past successes were just flukes , but it goes away quickly tho

Comparing is a big no no 👎 I reassure myself by saying that if I would present work I’ve done to a non-chemistry major they’d be so confused and lost and would just think I’m smart lol
