Jonathan jumped off of Ragger as fast as possible. He had been in this sort of situation many times before. He exchanged blows with one of the men, then struck him down.

The man Captain landed on screamed before the skull-kin drove his blade through the mans throat, twisting and lunging for the next target

Jonathan slapped Ragger's behind. Ragger took thee indication and charged towards one of them and the dog. The dog was able to get out of the way in time, but the man wasn't so fortunate. He wasn't dead though.

Captain hissed as one man swung at him, and retaliated by launching a black fireball in the humans face. They started screaming in pain and took off into the forest

Jonathan definitely wasn't expecting the large black ball of fire. He called Ragger back, and the horse came back with a trot.

Captain watched as the rest fleed in terror, before going to retrieve his horse

Jonathan took Ragger's reins and patten him in appreciation and praise.

Captain led his horse back over "wish i could be surprised at their actions" he said as he re mounted his horse

Jonathan got back onto Ragger. "I was surprised at yours," he said. "One doesn't see large black fireballs every day. "

Captain gave a low hum at that "i see.

Jonathan wasn't sure if Captain was taking that as a compliment or if he was just trying to make him feel edgy. So he just started riding the way they had been going.

Captain easily guided his horse to go along side him. "Erratum found some caves up ahead. We can set up camp there for the night

"Alright," Jonathan said. Then after a bit he said, "You know you still haven't named your horse." -

"Why would i?" Captain said, giving him a strange look -
(My hert was literally beating in rhythm with the music.)

Jonathan gave him a strange look. Didn't everyone name their animals? Captain didn't seem like the sort that would have a "pet," though. "Well, what if you need him to do something? Animals tend to respond the most to their names."
