Captain mimicked him, his grip tightening on his weapon when he spotted the blue black creature amidst some rubble. It had its back to them, and haddnt appeared to have spotted them -

Jonathan saw a strange creature that he had never seen before. He figured he should get used to seeing things he wasn't used to seeing or hadn't seen. -
The creature jerked its head back, ripping off another chunk of meat from the corpse. Captain glanced at the sky as he mentally called for Erratum, grabbing Jonathan's arm and pulling him behind some rubble

Jonathan did his best to keep silent as he was pulled off of his horse

"Erratum is going to try to break one of its wings" Captain said quietly, keeping an ear out for movement

Jonathan nodded and watched the creature

The Shard finished eating and sat up, looking around as the long tendrils on its head waved. It paused, and then looked up just in time to get slammed into by a pissed Erratum

Jonathan jumped a little. He had been expecting Erratum to come, but not that quickly or suddenly.

The Shard shrieked in anger as Erratum bit and clawed at it, only for the Shard to bite down on one of the Hyzanilks wings and bodily throw him through ome of the remaining buildings. Captain darted out of his hiding place, blasting dark fire at the wyvernoids back and causing it to glare at him.

Jonathan could tell that the creature didn't take kindly to fireballs being aimed at it. He wondered if he should go.out and help or if he should stay where he was.

Captain hissed somethinh in a horrible garbled language, the Shard shrieking right back at him before lunging at him. Captain managed to dive out of the way and blasted flames at the things exposed back

Jonathan watched in awe. He felt like he was on the verge of a world that had been hidden from him his entire life.

Captain then yelped in pain when its tail smashed into his torso, sending him flying into some rubble. Erratum snarled as he got up and lunged at the wyvern

Being concerned, Jonathan ran over to Captain.

Captain looked pained as he tried to get up
