-
Can I?
-
Sure! Give me a minute to type up the plot
-
You are a traveling mercenary, wandering the lands of Calian on your own doing. Recently, you have heard of a village that managed to rebel against the king and survived, now existing as its own entity. You heard that someone there is looking for able bodied warriors to aid them in a quest. For what, you do not know. You only know that they are offering a rather large sum of gold to anyone who takes up the call for air.

Nice. Ill start this)
Captian waited calmly in the towns tavern, arms crossed on the tables surface as he stared down at the old map spread across it. His currently twin crescent eyelights shifted to glance at the doorway. He decided he would only wait another week for any mercenary that might arrive. Though he doubted any would. He knew how sketchy his request sounded. A sting of pain flashed across his skull and he closed his eyesockets for a moment, taking a breath to calm himself before returning his attention to his map -
-
Jonathan saw the tavern. That's where most of the people who had jobs would be. He had heard a rumor and he was persuing it. He walked into the tavern and saw an odd-looking man looking at a map. He seemed to be the one he was looking for.
-
The skull-kin lifted his skull when he heard the tavern door opening, silently watching the human that entered. His eyelight shifted into pale rings for a moment before going back into the crescents as he looked back down and marked something on his map
-
Jonathan wasn't sure if he was the one he was looking for. He sat at the table next to him and ordered a tankard of ale. When it came he took a sip of it.
-
Captian made a motion with his hand and a book appeared in a swirl of black energy in his hand. He set it down amd started flicking through it, searching for something
-
Jonathan saw the book come out of no where. Curiosity got the best of him. And he might be able to figure out whether he was the man or not. "What was that?" he asked, referring to the appearance of the book.
-
Captian paused, before turning his head to look at the human. "Magic, obviously." He said dryly, resting one hand on the book as he returned his attention to it. He idly drummed his bony fingers on the paper as he read something, marking another thing on the map
-
"What are you working on?" he asked. He scolded himself silently. He shouldn't be prying. It usually didn't end well, especially amongst strangers
