Vitalus blinked sleepily at her as he yawned before setting his head down, purring

Elytra got a blanket and curled up next to him so he wouldn't feel alone. Eventually, she started falling asleep.

Vitalus curled against her as he fell asleep

Elytra smiled. She actually enjoyed Vitalus's company.

Vitalus purred quietly, holding his teddy close

Elytra drifted off, wondering what the next day would bring.

Vitalus woke up the next morning when he heard knocking, growling at the door

Elytra woke up abruptly, shocked awake by the knocking. She pulled her hair down into a ponytail and opened the door.

There was a guard there. "Good morning mam. Im here to escort you and your monster to the transport" he said as Vitalus hissed

"His name is Vitalus," she said. "And he's not a monster."

The guard frowned a little but just followed, stepping back from tge doorway "would you mind following me" he said as Vitalus stood up, clutching his teddy

Elytra nodded, before taking Vitalus's hand. "It's okay, Vitalus," she reassured him.

Vitalus looked her and fluttered his wings, calming down

Elytra continued to follow the guard.

The guard led them outside to an armored vehicle. Vitalus looked up at tge sky, his wings fluttering behind him
