Elytra got whacked in the back of the head by a branch and ducked. They were entering a tunnel of some sort.

Vitalus pressed himself flat on tetra

Tetra ripped the branch out of its place, crunching on it as she plodded on.

Vitalus trilled softly and buzzed his wimgs

Tetra trilled back at Vitalus, wagging her powerful tail.

Vitalus cooed and patted her

Tetra proceeded to wag her tail so hard, she nearly wiped out the creatures behind her.

Vitalus giggled at her

Elytra smiled at Vitalus' little giggle. He was too pure for this world.

Vitalus poked at a close branch

The branch poked back, but gently.

Vitalus squeaked in surprise

The tree giggled and the face of a dryad seemed to appear out of nowhere. "Didn't expect that, didja?" she said, a mischievous smile playing at her lips.

Vitalus giggled and shook his head, his wings buzzing
