"Vitalus!" Elytra cried in alarm. She jumped onto the creature and wrestled it off of him. Tetra used her tail to lash at any creature that tried to interfere.

Vitalus bit the attacking creature, snarling angrily

The draconic beast snapped ferociously at them. The moment the first drop of its blood touched the floor, the whole forest was thrown into a frenzy.

Vitalus continued attacking it

Elytra pulled it into a headlock before a high-pitched whistling noise came from the woods.

Vitalus paused at the whistle

A humanoid creature walked towards them. It was the oddest and strangest thing Elytra had every seen. Its skin was brilliant green in some places, scaly, slimy, but skin in every variant you could think of. It had a mishmash of features, including antlers, finwings, webbed toes, gills, and more.
It was all in all the most bizarre thing on the entire planet. It grinned, revealing rows and rows of sharp teeth.
"Welcome, rebels," it said, in not one, but five voices harmonized. -
Vitalus bristled a little at it, but moved to hover next to Elytra

Elytra stared at it. "What?" she said. "Sorry, I wasn't listening. Who are you?"
"The first experiment," the creature said. "Cruelly named Patch by the scientist who created me. I am Bizarra. It's a pleasure to meet you and your companions."
The dragon sulked behind Bizarra, its blue spots glowing faintly. -
Vitalus hissed at the dragon again

It shot a snooty expression at him, lifting its head up with a prideful air.
"You guys attacked us," Elytra said, glaring pointedly at the dragon.
"Ah yes, forgive me for that," Bizarra said, giving the dragon a look that said, "We'll discuss this later" before turning back to Elytra. "Please, won't you dine with us?"
"Do we have a choice?" Elytra said.
"I'm afraid not," Bizzara said, smiling grimly. "Or at least, not a pleasant one." -
Vitalus glared and moved closer to Elytra

Elytra sighed. "Fine. I guess we have no choice."
Bizarra grinned. "Excellent! Right this way." -
Vitalus stated close to Elytra

The dragon attempted to nip at them, but a well placed kick from Tetra warded him off.
