Vitalus flew after them

Elytra swung herself onto the mount, her shield ready to defend them.

Vitalus slammed into the shield

If Elytra hadn't braced for impact, she would have been thrown off. Thankfully she had, but it was still hard to stay on.

Vitalus flew back a few feet and hissed

They arrived at the building, where Jennifer was taken away.

Vitalus finally calmed down

The reptilliequine creature had to be sedated or else she would have torn the place apart.
Elytra patted the mount kindly, causing it to purr. Then she turned to Vitalus, wondering what to say. -
Vitalus landed on the ground, looking tired as to stared at her

"What were you going to do to her?" Elytra said, her voice trembling ever so slightly.

Vitalus's wings lowered and he stared at her

"Vitalus, I know you were just trying to help, but you went too far," Elytra said. "People won't understand and they might...they might take you away."

Vitalus hissed in response

"I know!" Elytra said. "That's exactly why I'm worried! I promised to protect you and that's what I'm going to do, but I'll need your help through this, okay?"
