She wiped some of the mud off of her face, before noticing Phen's frown. "What?"

"Nothing, you just looked dizzy

"Well, yes," she said, wiping off the mud. "Due to spinning around and what not."

Phen tilted his head but nodded

She took the soldiers' weapons and searched. She found that they all had a pouch of money, which she took. She decided that she could sell the weapons and took their armor as well.

Phen watched in amusment

Ardis continued her scavenging and loaded up the back of her mount. "We can sell these. It'll be the best revenge; our enemies feeding us."

Phen snorted but grinned, alright

Ardis spurred her poor horse into a gallop.

Phen got onto his horse and quickly followed

Ardis saw a nearby town and sold the soldiers' items. The people didn't think that Phen was real and wondered where he had gotten such a fabulous costume.

Phen was starting to get irritated with the townspeople, the tendrils on his head and back sharpening

Ardis swiftly sped them out of the town, before any conflict could arise.

Phen was grumbling under his breath

"Sorry about that," Ardis said. "Townspeople tend to be on the irritating side."
