"How's your wing feeling?" Ardis said, taking the reins into her hands.

"A little sore, but otherwise its fine

Ardis spurred her horse into a trot. "Hopefully it'll heal soon. I'm no medic."

Phen nodded in agreement as he had his steed follow

Ardis turned her sword into a small pin and tucked it in a small sheath at her side.

Phen looked around, frowning slightly

Ardis saw Phen do so. "Is something wrong?" she said.

"Thought i heard something" the Wyvrix said

Ardis felt uneasy. Phen could probably hear much better than she could, so she kept herself alert.

Phen tilted his head, continuing to look around

The horse she was riding shook his head uneasily, his large eyes flicking back and forth.

Phen growled lowly "i think we are being hunted"

Ardis unsheathed the small pin at her side and turned it into a sword. "Then let's change that."

Phen growled in agreement and lept off his horse, darting for the forest

Ardis was reluctant to leave the horses alone, but trusted that they could take care of themselves. She followed Phen.
