“Oh.” Sauda said, his hopes falling a bit, “I’m sure it’ll get better, right, Oseye?”
Oseye didn’t want to lie to Kinigua, “I’m really not sure. It could go either way.” -
Kinigua flicked the rock away from her, and it rattled into a gopher hole. "Twig says she might know something that can help it."
-
“What’s that?” Kinigua asked, tilting her head, “Are you sure?”
-
"Of course I'm not sure," Kinigua said. "But it's better than knowing nothing."
-
Oops! I meant Oseye))
“Alright, let’s get moving.” Sauda said, getting up and stretching. -
Psh it's fine)
Kinigua picked herself up again, wishing she could walk on all four legs again. -
Oseye sniffed the hot morning air, taking a few steps forward and sniffing again. “It seems like there’s a herd in that direction.” She said, spinning around and motioning towards a small herd of gangly zebras.
-
Twig had decided to eat the forgotten rabbit, and padded after them. Kinigua nodded.
"I'll spring one, and you two kill it," she said. -
Oseye nodded. Sauda did as well as he set out at a fast pace to get closer to the zebras. He spotted a limping zebra, and motioned to the others, “We’ll get that one.”
-
Kinigua felt a sting of sympathy for the limping zebra. It was like her. And she was about to be part of its death.
-
Sauda immediately let out a roar, disturbing the herd and causing it to run in the other’s direction.
Oseye waited patiently for the limping zebra, and when it finally got close enough she leapt at it, claws outstretched. -
*dances in My Pride Episode 4*)
Kinigua's sympathies slowly ebbed away. They had food now! She hobbled over to it.
"Good catch, Oseye," she said, smiling. -
Me too. I hate Nothing’s mom, she’s so mean))
Oseye grinned, “Thanks! I took it down by myself this time!” She cheerfully took a bite out of it and beckoned Sauda and Twig over. -
That's how they work though, so I actually like her character. Nothing's half sisters on the other hand...they can go die in a mud pit.)
Kinigua dug into the feast before her. Twig watched the ravenous lions with a twinge of unease. If they ever got too hungry, she might become a part of their menu. -
Yep. Twig has great common sense.))
Oseye lifted her head up, her stomach satisfied from the zebra. “I haven’t eaten like that in so long!”
