Kinigua didn't like the idea of a foreign lion with them, but she supposed she had no choice. "Alright then."
Twig looked up at Astari. "You're big," she said bluntly. -
“And you’re small.” Astari said back with the same tone that the fox had given him.

"I know," Twig replied. "It's a perk, actually."

“Being larger has its perks too.” Astari said, not wanting to give into an argument.

Twig jumped on top of him. "I'm currently bound to them, so if you accidentally killed them, I don't mind."
"Watch it," Kinigua said, although her face revealed that she was slightly amused. -
Astari chuckled, “I’m not killing anyone.” He rolled his eyes before heading towards the direction that the lions wanted to go in.
Sauda and Oseye followed, hesitantly. Oseye gave Twig a smirk before trotting to her brother. -
Twig poked her tongue sassily out at Oseye, although in good humor.
Kinigua decided to trust Astari for now. "So which pride did you come from?" she inquired. -
“Same as you, Sun Pride.” Astari looked back at them, expecting a reaction, “But not I live with a group of loners. We don’t have a pride just yet.”
Oseye looked at him skeptically, “You didn’t come from Sun Pride! I highly doubt it!” Astari merely replied, “I did, you wouldn't remember me. I was forced out of the Pride after Oba took over.” -
"You must be old," Twig commented.
"You have a group?" Kinigua said. -
“Watch your mouth, Twig.” Sauda warned her, “Have some respect.”
“Yes, a group of lions still looking for prides. We wouldn’t call it a pride still.” -
"It's perfectly respectful," Twig said. "It's practically a compliment."
Kinigua rolled her eyes at Twig, before turning her attention back to Astari. "Do you plan on having a pride of your own one day?" -
“Then why don’t you respect the elderly.” Oseye snorted, looking over at Twig.
Astari looked back, “Maybe, though I would need help, I don’t fight as well as I used to.” -
"You aren't elderly," Twig said. "So I'll disrespect you as much as I please, thank you!"
"Twig, if you don't shut your mouth, you're going to jabber all of our ears off," Kinigua said with an exasperated sigh.
The fox shot Kinigua an impudent look, but silently reclined herself on top of Astari, allowing Kinigua to return to her conversation with him.
"That's what the new Sun Pride leader told Sauda to do," she said. "But we haven't gotten very close to that yet." -
“I’ve been keeping my eyes on Moon Pride for a while now. I’m thinking I can take over, their leader will step down, he can’t fight anymore.” Astari said, taking longer strides.

"That's actually where we're headed," Kinigua admitted. "For a flower or something."
