Oseye peeked over her brother’s shoulder, the lion was no older than Sauda.
Sauda glared at the lion, “What do you want?” He snapped, showing his teeth as a warning. -
Twig sighed. She would have to defend them, wouldn't she? That Kinigua lioness, or whatever her name was, had an uncanny knack for attacking lions.
Kinigua stood firmly at Sauda's side and showed her teeth and claws, trying to intimidate the newcomer. -
I Vote Twig for President))
The male lion took no bother in Kinigua, Oseye, or Twig. He headed towards Sauda, who’s fur spiked up aggressively.
Oseye noticed the other lion starting to slow down, his run becoming a trot and his trot becoming a walk. Oseye countered him as he neared. “Who are you?” She asked, head up and confident. -

Twig swiped at his legs as a warning. "Do you have no concept of personal space?" she hissed.
Kinigua glared at the lion. -
The lion, as said before, took no attention to the others except for the young male before him. “I’m Astari.”

Twig was about to full on attack the lion when Kinigua slid her away.
"Hypocrite," Twig muttered. Kinigua gave her a look like "Dude, you're tiny". -
Tiny Twig for President))
Astari chuffed a bit, “Who are you?” He asked, now talking to the whole group. -

"None of your business," Kinigua said.
"So back off!" Twig added. -
“It is my business,” Astari said, glancing at the lioness who had snapped at him, “You’re in my territory.”
Oseye looked around, “All this space, for one lion?” -

Kinigua growled. "We're just passing through. Now unless you want me to give you a few "goodbye gifts", you better back off."
Twig rolled her eyes. Like that was going to work on this lion. -
“I’m not backing off until you’re off this territory.” Astari said, with a slight snarl to his voice.

Kinigua swished her tail irritably. "We were just passing through, until you had to make a big deal out of it."

Sauda rested his tail on Kinigua’s shoulder to calm her down, “We’re just passing through, no big deal.”

Kinigua took a deep breath. She couldn't let her temper flare so easily. She'd have to work on that.
Twig had an excellent poker face and appeared almost bored. -

Astari calmed down a bit, “I’ll pad with you until you reach your destination, I don’t want you getting hurt.”
Oseye could tell the lion was one that didn’t like bloodshed, or violence of any kind. He was here to help.
