Eldgrimr said "Alright, we'll do this democratically. All in favor of finding the monster, raise your hand." Both Eldgrimr and Luwanna raised theirs.

(It's been a while, gang... but in a fit of passion I randomly decided to doodle y'alls characters in my sketchbook
Ignore how messy they are and how bad the lighting is, it's like 2am here haha) -
Cool.

(Hey this is katqueen. I'm doing the same thing that I'm doing with puppet in the WOTSTW roleplay, since darko prefers not to go on GTQ anymore but I can still contact them on discord. This roleplay will continue if that's a-okay with you roboticlus)
Ethelyn scowled at Joti, hurt that the Ignis wasn't backing her up this time. She tucked her hands beneath her armpits, refusing to raise her hand along with the others.
Azariah silently raised their free hand, studying the ghoul intently. They were trying to see if they could sense any indication that he was lying to the group. -
Even if Azariah tried to go for a future sense to feel the intentions of the ghoul, they could see that the creature was actually being genuine. Whatever this "monster" is seems to be disliked by even the ghouls, which begged the question of what the creature was in the first place..
Faris raises his hand, then immediately flinches. Something about this was inherently wrong; as a race the infernum's top two priorities were to trial humans and to kill ghouls. "I guess we have a deal... uh.."
"Noah," the ghoul supplied.
Joti looked unimpressed. The ghoul shrugs. "Forms change. Names don't." -
(Sounds good to me. I missed this.)
Eldgrimr said "That makes sense. Lead the way, Noah." -
-
Dark's reply:
Azariah relaxed when they sensed that the ghoul had no foul intentions. They lowered their arm, looking over to Ethelyn. While they couldn't see her expression well, they felt her anger rippling off of her.
As for the others, well... just about anyone could tell that she was livid over the vote. She avoided eye contact with the group, her lips curling downward into a nasty scowl. -
Noah nods at Eldgrimr and starts leading the group into the forest, off the path. They would have an even harder time going through the brush, but the ghoul seemed to know where he was going. "What warriors names?" Noah ask as he trotted along expertly.
"Joti, the number one tenebris in the business," Joti said with an air of determination, like she dared anyone to call her out on that title so that she could berate them mercilessly. "Francis," Faris lied smoothly. -
"I am Eldgrimr, mortem. That is all you need to know." Eldgrimr answered. "My name is Luwanna and I'm a tenebris too." Luwanna answered sincerely.

"My name is Azariah," Azariah replies. "I am the Sanguinem representative." They follow Noah closely, using their staff to push the brush aside. Despite their hindered vision, they are able to sense their surroundings and keep up with the ghoul rather well.
Ethelyn, on the other hand, struggles to keep up with the group. Between her frustration and the density of the forest, she lags behind at the end of the party. When she tries to angrily shove her way through the brush, her clothing gets snagged. As she rips herself free, she just barely hears everyone announcing their names and kingdoms. Faris's lie catches her attention, though she says nothing about it. She merely speed walks to catch up, utterly silent in the process. -
Joti noted the 'too' Luwanna added, and Joti's respect for her went up a little bit. All too often people would challenge Joti, so it was nice that Luwanna considered Joti as one of her own.
"We are not far now," Noah said after a few minutes of walking. He slowed his pace and sniffed the air.
Faris did the same. He had a heightened sense of smell as a tenebris, so he figured he could help. Immediately he scrunched up his face. The smell in the air was one of death and blood, like multiple things had recently died near the area. -
Luwanna could smell the blood and death too. She was now a little more alert and looking around. she reached behind her back and grabbed the handle of her hammer, ready to use it if needed.
