I was soon finished and was able to leave, I went over to the chairs and saw elias sleeping on one of them, I wasnt really sure whether I should wake him up or not, but I gently tapped his shoulder, I regretted doing that, it seemed by just looking at the smile growing on his face, he seemed to be dreaming of something good
-
Elias jumped suddenly as he felt the tap to his shoulder, dropping his satchel to the ground. He laughed nervously as he came to the stark realization that it was only Zinark waking him. He gave another wave, erecting himself from the seat. Because it would have pained him to lean down and snatch up the satchel, he instead bent down with the power of his knees, grabbing it by the strap and securing it to himself once more. He gave a bob of his head. "Right, ahaaa! Good evening. Cool, cool. So, do you know of any good places to chow down? Preferably one that serves good coffee. I'm in need of some, obviously." He had spent most of his night dedicated to his actual job, completing necessary tasks ahead of time.
-
I slightly tilted my head a little, "yes I do" I said smiling slightly, "you still seem a bit hurt though... are you ok?" I asked, he was acting a bit funny but I was just thinking I woke him up the wrong way
-
"Oh, you know the deal with the human body and such. Well, er, maybe not. I don't know. I'll be okay. Anyways, to the restaurant, eh? Oh! You don't have to worry about paying. I got it covered." This was an entirely true statement. The money he earned from his job would have been enough to sustain and care for four people, but he only lived by himself in a two bedroom home with his two dogs. There was no way he would fall into debt or be left homeless. It was the dream life, in his opinion, always being capable of doing things that he wished to do. He hoped that Zinark was as stable as he was. That was something else he believed in-- no person should have so little money they cannot healthily thrive. It was depressing to come across those that couldn't afford necessities. Another part of humanity he despised were the top one percent of the top one percent-- the people who were so rich they could buy other countries yet saved all of the wealth for themselves. It was appalling.

I nodded and turned to the store exit leading elias to the nearest restaurant which was known as steele's unimaginables, it showed right there on a large sign attached to the building above the entrance, a bit under the main words it said unimaginable cuisines ( kind of had to randomly think this up so sorry if that sounds a bit off around that restaurant part )
-
Elias put his vision on the sign, nodding as he absorbed the title of the restaurant. He had yet to eat any of the cuisine served in the town, and so this would technically be a milestone for him. Staring for a moment, he eventually opened the door for Zinark, waiting for him to enter. The aroma the fine dinners being prepared found its way into Elias' nostrils, causing him to let out a 'mmph' of interest in what he might order. Excitement took over his usually uninterested personality.

( sorry for late response, I was actually drawing what I think steele might be like, I drew him being a bit dog like which is a weird coincidence because elias loves dogs XD would you like me to show you? )
-
(Sure!!)

BWAHAAAA elias is gonna be like os--- son is that a dog oh yes oh yes oh yes
-
( XD cant wait to see his reaction )
we soon got seated and given menus, I was looking through mine trying to decide what to get, a large silvery monster really similar looking to a dog walked past casually holding a tray of food and drinks ( that is steele ) -
Though Elias had been focusing entirely on his menu, the figure caught his attention via his peripheral vision. His heart rate intensified as he hurried to catch a better glimpse of the doglike figure. A beaming smile spread across his face, his eyes lighting up like a small child on Christmas. A giddy laugh escaped his lips. "Was that a dog? I love dogs. Dude, you should meet my dogs. They are so cute and fun. Who was that? Do you know him?" His dialogue was speedy and vivacious, almost seeming to take control over him. His rotten attributes disappeared for at least that moment, his tongue slightly sticking out of his mouth as he anticipated the answer from his new friend.
-
I chuckled a little seeing him getting excited, "that is steele, he owns this restaurant but also likes to cook food and serve it, I still don't get how he doesn't tire out doing all those things, but I think somehow he get's help" I said
-
Elias nodded in understanding, returning back to the menu. He decided he was going to get something titled, 'The Twisted Chicken Caesar Salad', which apparently included vegetables he'd never heard of and a new dressing for the lettuce. He shrugged, closing the menu and placing it in the middle of the table. "Place seems interesting even though I haven't heard of half of the s---...I'm sorry for the strong language....Stuff inside of it." A bit of red spread across his cheeks. He didn't mean to come across as so rude, and decided that he wanted this particular individual to like him. He was trying his best to be a good person, but he found it more difficult than expected.
-
I was rather surprised to hear him say a vulgar word like that, but I decided to let that go, he seemed to be embarrassed by it, so I felt like I shouldn't bring much attention to that, "I guess this food is rather new to you, but trust me you'll really like it, maybe enough to want to ask for seconds" I said chuckling a little
