"I understand. But anyways, yeah! We should totally go out to the park and such." Elias assumed that it would be best for him to find a state of relaxation rather than find himself caught up in the stress of his work and side job. He slid his gloves on, buttoning his coat and gesturing for Zinark to come along. He was relatively excited for the personality that he usually owned. It was most likely time for a change to a much happier and enjoyable life.

( just an idea, could we skip to where they get to the park and a bit after that, zinark's scar starts to act up and hurt him? )
-
sure m8 go ahead
-
once we got to the park, I realized that it was closed, the big fence surrounding the park had a large gate which was usually open, I was rather confused, but decided to let that go, "aww, I think the park is closed, it usually is open, this is unusual" I said
-
Elias' face was visibly disappointed, his arms crossing in a sassy fashion. "Well, if you want, we can go to my house. My dogs would love to meet you." He grinned at the thought of his beloved German Shepherd and Pitbull. For being formerly know as rather aggressive breeds, they were very gentle. While Elias had been injured, they rested with him as he slept for most of the day during the first two weeks. He had been feeling much better since then, the only thing he was having trouble with was weening himself off of the medication as the doctors had told him to do. His dogs were his saviors, the only reason he did not allow himself to become addicted in any way.
-
"oh, yes I would actually love to-" I slightly grunted putting one big hand near my scarred eye just rubbing it a little by instinct, I realized what I was doing and stopped myself smiling nervously, I curled my tail around myself, trying not to focus on the pain the scar was giving me, "oh, I just remembered something I have to do later!" I said grinning, I was hoping he would not question it, or have any worry about me, I wanted to be seen as fine, I badly just wanted to move on from that attack from around a year ago, I wanted nothing more then to just get back to my old life and enjoy being around friends and playing games and stuff with no trouble or worries from anyone
-
Elias tilted his head in a rather perplexed manner, giving a careful touch to one of Zinark's arm. His eyebrows were once again tangled into an intense anxiety-filled mess. "Zinark, are you sure you are alright? And you can trust me with anything. If you need help, I can provide it." He ran a hand through his own head of hair, wondering if the monster had been completely honest with himself when at the restaurant. Lying was understandable with a solid case behind it, so Elias would not hold a grudge if he found that Zinark was not truthful. He clutched his satchel's strap tightly, taking a step back and attempting to obtain a better view of the other individual.
-
I tried to seem calm and casual, but that was harder then I thought, I resisted the urge to bring a hand up to that scar again, I realized I could feel it pulsating, so I turned my head just slightly so it was less noticable, I was thinking a little, maybe I should tell him? no... that cause another whole commotion of worry, I didn't want anyone to worry about me, but, I was actually worried about the after effects of that attack that was around a year ago, I still had them and this was one of them... "ah, I am fine elias" I said
-
Elias inhaled deeply, tipping his head to Zinark in understanding. "I apologize for badgering, then." He turned away from him, using his head to gesture in the direction of his home so as to tell the monster to follow him. The snow was not going to be an issue for him as he had trekked through it the entire day. He tucked his nose into his scarf in a desperate attempt to warm the sensitive part of his body. His old home had been in a remote part of the world that was a desert area, usually plagued by sandstorms and intense heat waves. After finding himself in the hospital after two dehydration cases after long work days, he checked himself out of the city and made his way to the new location, where he was now with Zinark.
-
"Oh, it's ok!" I said, "so, we are heading towards your house?" I asked starting to follow after him, my scar was still hurting, and pulsating, and that bothered me, from time to time I rubbed it to get some relief for a short time
-
"Yes," he replied simply, heading forward throughout the town. It was a matter of about ten minutes before he stopped in front of a medium sized home that was built meticulously out of brick. A tattered welcome mat laid near the front door, which Elias, with a frustrated groan, adjusted so that it was back in front of the entrance. The male reached into the front pocket of his satchel, yanking a small silver key from it, raising it and securing the satchel closed again. He turned to Zinark. "Look, I have a German Shepherd named Winston. He is incredibly calm will not f----- I'm sorry, mess with you. I also have a pitbull named Apache. He is a little jumpy but he is so lovable. You'll like them. Just don't be scared if they get a little excited."
-
I nodded smiling a little ignoring his accidental swear, "I think me and them would get along just fine" I said smiling a little, but it was more of a weak smile, my scar was still hurting so I had my eyelid halfway closed hoping that would help
-
The teenager gave a bob of his head, unlocking the front door and opening it wide open, leaving it open so that Zinark would be capable of entering. He took his satchel off, tossing it onto the nearby burgundy coach. Winston gently padded over to Elias as the boy made his way to sit on the plush, welcoming surface. His flat screen television was built into the wall, right above a stone fireplace. A large, glass coffee table with a wooden frame was the center of everything, decorated with red and white candles for the winter season. He had a small Christmas tree stationed in the corner of the living room as the lovely holiday was only a few weeks away. Cute little ornaments decorated the tree along with a paw print topper sparkling at the peak. A variety of pictures and paintings hung along the walls, mostly including Elias' dogs.
-
I looked around grinning a little, it seemed like Elias was already in the Christmas spirit, the candles looked rather nice

Elias allowed a high-pitched whistle to emit from his mouth, causing a thunderstorm of running footsteps to sound out through the home. Apache, a smaller pitbull, burst from around the corner, coming right to Zinark and sliding to a stop once he was at his feet. The animal sniffed away, trying to determine who the visitor was. He offered a loving lick to the ankle before scurrying off to Elias, who then gave both of the canines itches behind the ear. He yanked his shoes off, setting them underneath of the coffee table. After pulling of his winter entire, being left in his shirt and black slacks, he asked, "Do you need anything?"
