Lovino stopped grumbling and fell silent when he realized Antonio wasn't really listening to him. He huffed and crossed his arms, trying to look offended, but by the time they reached Antonio's house, Lovino had loosened up, at least as much as he could in a moving car. He glanced over at him in the driver's seat, reluctantly murmuring a small thanks for taking him away from the hospital. -

Antonio nodded, letting out a small sigh. "Lo siento, amor." He murmured, biting his lip. "I didn't mean to tune out." He pulled into the driveway, sitting silently in his seat for a moment before sliding out of the seat, going around to help Lovino out as well. "I'm sorry, Lovino." He sighed. "I'm tired. Are you going to be upset if I take some pills and fall asleep?" -

Lovino stumbled out of the car, legs giving out for a moment as he squeaked, latching onto Antonio and nearly bringing them both to the ground. Embarrassed and guilty, knowing Antonio was already exhausted, Lovino quickly let go of him, leaning instead against the car for support, stammering curses and apologies, assuring Antonio that he didn't care what he did, hoping it sounded less angry than he heard it to be. -

Antonio cringed slightly at Lovino's flustered response, wondering if be was upset at it, although he was saying he wasn't. "Sorry, sorry," He breathed quickly, going to help Lovino up, hooking his arm through his and taking some of his weight as he pulled them both to the door, unlatching it and pulling them both in with a quiet greeting to whoever might be in earshot. He pulled Lovino over to the couch before allowing his arm to unhook from Lovino's. "Let me just get some painkillere," He murmuured, before hurrying back out to the kitchen.
