Antonio frowned, but shook his head. "No, I haven't gotten food. I don't need to, really. I... I don't know how long we were out." He squinted up at the clock. "I think we slept through the night. Or day. Uh, I can't tell." However, there was an answer to Lovino's last question, another small card from Feli sitting on the table, along with a small tray of cold food. "Yeah, I think you're brother came in. Maybe mine, too." -
ahh I'm so sorry I was gone so long
Lovino looked slightly alarmed for a moment, kneeing him in the leg. "What the f---, yes you do need food it's been four-- five-- it's been a long time, b------!" He sighed, focus shifting the card, embarrassed that Feli had seen them asleep with their limbs all tangled together, Lovino probably clinging to Antonio and Antonio probably hugging Lovino like a big teddy bear. He sighed again, hoping the doctor would pop in soon and let him know what was going on. -

Antonio groaned. "I don't want to get up..." He complained. Even the tray of food only a few steps away on the desk looked too far, and he really didn't want to get up. Luckily for him, he didn't have to come up with anymore arguments, because at that moment the doctor came in, raising an eyebrow at the two boys practically intertwined on the bed. "Mr. Vargas? I'm here for your final eval. Are you feeling better?" -

Lovino blushed, managing to half-sit up with Antonio's leg wrapped around his and arm sprawled over his waist. Cheeks hot, he nodded quickly. "Si, er y-yes," he answered, watching the man copy a few numbers from the monitors down on his clipboard. Hopefully this meant he could go home soon. -

The doctor pursed his lips at the numbers on the board, and Antonio realized he was holding his breath. "The next time your family comes tell them that you can be discharged when they're ready to sign you out." He said finally, and Antonio let out a relieved sigh, shooting a small grin at Lovino. The doctor continued. "Be careful for the next week or so, before going under any stress again. School is optional, if you're up for it, but you'll have a note to get out of homework and things like that." He shuffled his notes. "That sound okay?" -

Lovino nodded eagerly. "Y-Yes, grazie," he quipped quickly, biting his lip to hold back a smile. He was free! Free from drugs and chemical smells and white walls and papery sheets. He bit his lip a little harder, relieved and happy. They could get out and get rid of Gil and Francis and be happy and safe. -

Antonio grinned, glancing at Lovino. The doctor nodded, marking something on his clipboard and leaving the room with a small goodbye. Antonio leaned over and kissed Lovino on the cheek, laughing. "See?" He teased, "you complained and now you're leaving. The doctors must be pychic." At least Lovino would be able to leave now. He really had seemed upset about being here so long. -

Lovino rolled his eyes, blushing very brightly when Antonio kissed his cheek. Somehow, the sweet little gesture felt more intimate than some of the more passionate kisses they'd shared. A bit flustered, Lovino swatted his arm. "Just call Nonno or Feli, I wanna get the f--- out of here." he said with a huff. -

Antonio laughed, leaning over Lovino quickly to grab his phone, before plopping back down next to him. He slid down so he was almost laying all the way down, resting his head on Lovino's shoulder as he opened his messages to text Feli the news. "Hopefully they'll be here soon, then." He mumbled contentedly, humming quietly to himself, turning the phone off again. "I think you might go crazy if we stay here much longer." -
ahh usually I'm just a little uncomfortable but these really hurt ;~; I'll take all the mental cuddles you can give haha
Lovino 'hmm'ed in agreement, resting his head atop Antonio's with a small huff. "Excuse me, b------, but I'm perfectly capable of keeping my mental health stable." He scowled at all the monitors. "...If nothing else." He added quietly, for once hoping Roma would walk in on them. He really wanted to het out the hospital. -

Antonio snorted. "Whatever you say, carino." He murmured, his eyes shutting for a moment. The phone buzzed, and he flipped the screen on, peering down at ot. "Feli says they'll be here in twenty minutes." He mumbled with a small sigh. "Hope you can keep your head together that long, at least." He mumbled, humming again and twisting his head to bury his face in Lovino's shirt. "I'm glad we're leaving." -
Good morning! It's early for you but when you see this I hope you're having a good morning ^^
Lovino groaned. "Twenty minutes? It's a ten minute drive for that slow a--hole." He grumbled, though it was hard to continue to look genuinely angry with Antonio up against him like that. He sighed, his expression softening a bit as he gently draped an arm over Antonio. -

Antonio nodded into Lovino's shoulder. He felt Lovino's arm go around and he tilted his head up to look at him, eyes half-lidded and drowsy. "Te quiero," he mumbled, offering a lazy smile. "I love you a lot. But I've got a bit of a headache, amor. I think I'll go home, not to your house. Lo siento..." He would have to eat and drink something there. He definitely didn't want to get to Lovino's house and drug himself into falling asleep on their couch againm
