Lovino squawked, flailing for a moment in a failed attempt to deflect the pillow assault. "Aim with the pillow, or..?" He asked with a chuckle, before looking rather indignant. "And hey! You- You're the one who tried to f--- me in the hospital!" -

Antonio laughed. "No, not with the pillow, idiota." He rolled his eyes, tugging his shirt down over his head. He leaned over Lovino, pulling his gown down with a smirk. "No, you're the one who decided to start this in the hospital. If I remember correctly, I'm the one who stopped us from doing it." His smirk crooked upward slyly, his voice lowering, leaning down so he was speaking in Lovino's ear. "But I am going to f--- you later. When you're better, carino." And then he straightened up as if he hadn't said anything, giving him an innocent smile, going over to unlock the door again. -

Lovino's blush darkened very quickly when Antonio leaned over him, hurrying to help him tug the skimpy gown down. "I didn't start this, you're the one who started making out with me, and then you- you-" He was abruptly cut off by Antonio's husky whisper in his ear, making his cheeks scarlet and his eyes wide. "You- You b------, you don't just casually talk about f---ing someone! B-Besides, who decided you would top?" He asked, crossing his arms, lips set in a firm pout despite the fact that even he himself would prefer to bottom. -

Antonio laughed, returning to the bed and sitting on the end by Lovino's feet, crossing his legs under him. "Calmate, carino." He hummed, grinning widely at him, enjoying the vivid red color that had spread across Lovino's cheeks. "Nobody decided anything," He practically sang, "I'm just saying. Anywho, I'll say we're both responsible for that. But," He smirked again, raising an eyebrow. "I mean, anyway you prefer it. It's not like there's a rush, right?"

Lovino huffed, pulling the previously discarded thin white blanket up and nuzzling into it, hoping to hide his blusha lot like a certain cutie who hides in big sweaters. "H-How the hell do you know I prefer it?!" He demanded indignantly, obviously embarrassed. "...And there is a rush..." he added in a mumble. "You said when I'm better, so I gotta hurry up and get better." -

Antonio laughed. "I don't know how you prefer it, but I think you just gave me my answer, hm?" He smiled more gently. "Don't make that your motivation, idiota." He scooted up to peck him quickly on the lips, humming lowly. "Get better to be better. I don't want to hang out in the hospital forever. You're lucky I'm not allowed to go to school anyways." -

Lovino squeaked, biting his lip and smiling fondly as Antonio pecked the mask again. He didn't know many boys who would sit in the hospital for days on end just to make sure their partners were safe and relaxed. Yeah, as far as boyfriends went he'd gotten stuck with a pretty good one. Throwing his arms out, he pouted again. "Come lay with me then, idiota, help me get better." He mumbled, cheeks still aflame with embarrassment. -

Antonio grinned, rolling his eyes with a small laugh and laying down next to Lovino. "Well, if it makes you feel better," he teased, pulling the blanket up so he could join Lovino underneath it. He threw one arm over Lovino's waist, pressing his lips to his temple. "Te quiero, tonto." He murmured. He hesitated, before smiling crookedly again, adding one last comment. "You look cute blushing, tesoro." -

"Shut up," he muttered. He hesitated, but after a moment slowly lifted the mask off again, relieved to find that he could still breath without it. He sighed softly, hugging Antonio as best he could without tangling him in IV tubes and monitor wires. "Ti amo," he whispered shyly, before closing his eyes and sighing again, a little sadly. "f---...I wanna go home..." he said in a small voice. He wanted to be done with the hospital. He was growing sick of nauseating chemical smells and constantly being drugged, practically sedated, even when he didn't feel like he needed it. He wanted to go home and forget that his lungs sucked as lungs and that his heart had stopped. -

Antonio's expression fell at the small confession, his arms going around Lovino as well, hugging him tightly and pressing his face to his hair. "I'm sorry, amor." He murmured softly. "I know it sucks, but it'll be over soon. You don't want to go home and have to be on edge about your health, hm?" He let out a small sigh. He understood what Lovino meant, although he had only had to deal with it for four or five days before he was released, and he'd been asleep for a lot of it. But the thought of Lovino going home early and having another scare with his lungs absolutely terrified him, and his arms tightened slightly. It sucked to see Lovino having to be hooked up to the machines and confined to his bed, too. As much as they'd been distracted for a while there, it really wasn't a pleasant experience for either of them, much less so for Lovino. -

Lovino wilted slightly, knowing Antonio was right. He made a small noncommital noise and pressed closer, sniffling softly. "I w-wanna go home," he repeated, this time his voice slightly shaky. He hid his face in Antonio's chest, embarrassed and ashamed as hot tears stung his eyes. "I h-hate it here." -

Antonio felt his heart drop into his stomach. "I'm sorry, tesoro." He whispered, one hand going up to smooth down the hair on the back of his head, trying to calm him down. "I know. You'll go home soon, alright?" He kept his voice gently, humming quietly in between reassurances, hoping to even just distract him a little bit. "Todo van a estar bien, te prometo amor, te quiero." He closed his eyes. "Ti amo, Lovinito, lo siento."

Lovino didn't want to work himself into another panic, especially not with the mask off, so he took a deep breath, ignoring the small tears wetting his cheeks and instead leaning up to kiss Antonio gently, the hand in his hair unusually comforting. "Ti amo," he whispered apologetically. "I just hate everyone treating me like I'm so breakable." -

Antonio kissed him back softly, giving a small hum of acknowledgement. "It'll pass, tesoro." He murmured back. "Of course everyone is worried for you. Nobody wants something serious to happen. And you can't blame Feli and your grandpa for being a little overprotective. They're your family." He gave a small shrug, as if to say 'what can you do?', his lips pressing into a tight line. "Te quiero, Lovinito." He smiled gently, squeezing with the arm around Lovino's waist, hugging him tightly. "If you want me to treat you like you're invincible I can, but you also need to know what your own limits are." -
