"But I'm not old enough.. I can't fully change on my own." Aniel mumbled softly, taking her hand and lightly squeezing it. He bit his lip to keep quiet when Rhonen came in, snuggling up to Nevaeh.
The older wolf smirked at the grin that came over his mate's face, watching it quickly disappear. "One of your friends?" He whispered and moved over to sit beside the swinging bed, shaking his head. "Don't worry. Just stay quiet and she'll think no one's here then leave on her own." -
Nevaeh shook her head, moving to get of the bed. "No, you don't understand, she wont leave. Lynna's going to- Ow! The 'ow' was her hitting her broken ankle hard on the side of the bed. She let out a little gasp, and closed her eyes, sucking in a breath.
Lynna was about to go in one of the huts when she heard a noise from the next one over. She stepped away, slowly slipping over and into that one, eyes widening at what she saw. "..Nevaeh?" -
"You shouldn't feel that much pain.." Rhonen murmured, pursing and furrowing his brow when he could smell the other woman near. She smelled as if she mated often. Lacking virtue because of force was one thing, but willingly giving it up? His nose wrinkled at the idea of it. He could tell by the twitching of Aniel's nose that the pup could smell it, too, but likely didn't know what it was. "You really shouldn't go barging into peoples' rooms. What if she'd been getting changed or something? You would've embarrassed her." The wolf stood to look at Lynna, nervously scratching the back of his neck. He wondered how he'd get the other to leave and keep her mouth shut.
-
Lynna completely ignored Rhonen, shoving him aside to stand next to Nevaeh. She clicked her tongue, shaking her head. "I thought you were dead! And, here you are, all cozy! You could have at least written me." Nevaeh shook her head, rolling her eyes. She pulled her arms free of Aniel, and hugged her friend, not letting go for a long moment. When she did, she quickly explained what happened. "..And that's why you have to go back," She finished, biting her lip, "To take care of the girls."
"I also need to keep an eye on you. I'm sure this Rhoho guy is great and all, but, baby, you need your girls as much as they need you." -
Aniel cringed a bit when the other got close to them and clung protectively to Nevaeh. "She smells funny, not like you when you got here at all.." He didn't want her to leave with this other woman, not after the promise of having a new family.
The wolf growled when Lynna pushed past him, but quickly calmed himself and walked over to Nevaeh, sitting beside her and resting his head on her shoulder. "It's Rhonen, and you will listen to your friend and leave this place right now. It's not safe out here for someone that's lived in civilization their whole life." -
Nevaeh laughed at Aniel's comment, fluffing his hair up. "That's because she's.. Well, she's around men a lot, so she smells like the human men do," She explained. It wasn't completely a lie.. Lynna rolled her eyes at them, shaking her head. "I can't go. Don't know my way out. And, anyways, like I said, Nevaeh needs me." The huntress shook her head, sitting up a little on the bed, causing it to rock. She pressed a kiss to Rhonen's temple. "Mm.. You know what, Lynna? You really do need to go home. What about your work?"
-
"..She shpuld stop being around men." Aniel looked confused when Rhonen bit his lip to hold back his laughter and looked at Nevaeh for answers. "What's so funny? What aren't you guys telling me?"
Rhonen grinned, rolling his eyes a bit. "Don't worry about it, Aniel. You'll understand in time." He let out a soft, puppy-like whine at the kiss to his temple, closing his eyes while listening to the women talk. He held Nevaeh's hand, entwining their fingers and squeezing lightly. "..We can send you a guide. A lot of us know these woods like the backs of our hands, so someone will be able to take you home." -
"A cute guide?" Lynna questioned. Nevaeh rolled her eyes and muttered something about her needing to stop, which resulted in them both laughing. After a bit more of small talk, Lynna stood up. "Well, if you're alright, I suppose I'll be going.. Really, though, Nevaeh. Write me. Promise you'll write me."
The woman nodded, and promised, looking at Rhonen. "Make sure who ever you send out with her is nice. And make sure they take her all the way to the edge of the forest." -
"I don't know what you find 'cute', but I'll send whoever is here and willing to take you." He then looked at Nevaeh with a reassuring smile, kissing the side of her neck. "Don't worry. I won't send anyone that would harm her. Hell, if a male distracts her, I might as well send a female to lead the way. Our women are actually faster and more clever than we are. They'll slip through just about anything."
(Who to send with her? Hmm) -
"Ahh.. Lynna doesn't mix well with other girls. Send a male," Nevaeh warned, humming at the kiss to her neck. After Lynna left, Nevaeh would have to send Aniel out so that her and Rhonen could have alone time. "Hurry back," She requested, snuggling her son. Lynna headed for the door, watching to see if he followed.
(hmm) -
"Aniel, go ask around and see if Jule is around to escort your momma's friend home. Then see if Rayne needs anything. Okay?" Rhonen smiled at the pup and shifted to kiss the top of his head.
Aniel nodded and carefully climbed out of bed, running after Lynna and sniffing around for the male in question. He looked up at Lynna while he looked around the practically empty camp, only a few werewolves - specifically males - having emerged since the human arrived, and pouted a bit. "Why do you really smell like that?" -
Happy to be alone with him, Nevaeh pulled on Rhonen's arm, wanting him to lay next to her. "I know we can't do too much right now, but what can we do? I want to be with you in every way possible, Rho.." She pressed a kiss to his cheek, smiling.
"..As said, I'm around men a lot. That's why," Lynna insisted, following the little boy. He sure was curious. She didn't mind. As long as Nevaeh was safe and happy, she didn't mind. -
"Anything that doesn't give you puppies." He smiled, a bit disappointed, but valued Nevaeh's safety over starting a family right away. Not to mention they had Aniel to fill that space, and it seemed just having the boy around made his mate happy. "The gestation time is a third compared to humans, and we need to make sure you can change in case the pups wolf out. If they do that, they'll tear your human form apart, but as a wolf, it's not as bad. Yet I'm sure Rayne will be watching you like a hawk when we can have pups." The young wolf hummed and adjusted to lie with her, reaching up to stroke her hair.
"Why are you around men a lot? Shouldn't you be loyal to your soulmate? I don't think he would like it if you were around men all the time." Aniel puffed his cheeks, still keeping his open for Jule. -
(I'm assuming Rho's still shirtless?)
Nevaeh grinned, rolling and shifting so that she was om top of him, stomach against stomach. She listened as he spoke, and then nodded. "So, anything that wont cause a babe? Hm.." She wiggled a bit, pressing kisses to his neck. "What about this?" She inquired, trailing kisses down his neck, stopping to make a mark at his collar bone. "And.. What about this?" Her leg that didn't connect with a broken ankle slid between his legs, and she pressed her knee against his groin, shifting it gently, knowing that his clothes were thin.
"Men are involved in my work. I don't have a soulmate. Why are you so nosy," Lynna huffed, shaking her head. -
(Oh very much so. He loves the sun on his skin~)
Rhonen smiled up at his mate, slipping his arms around her and sighing contently at the sweet kisses to his throat. He nodded lightly while she marked his collar bone. "That's fine..Feels really nice, too." But the moment he felt her knee push between his legs, he gasped, moving his hands to hold her waist. "Nevaeh.." He paused to look at her, his cheeks tinting pink, then smiled lovingly. "Yes. That's all good.. Tell me, what can I do to make you feel nice, too?" The wolf wanted to know what the woman above him wanted, what made her comfortable.
"Everyone has a soulmate, maybe you should start looking for him." Aniel told her as he cautiously began to peek into other wolves' shelters. "..He's either hunting or at the lake.."
